(Here's a new chapter Rosalies! I hope y'all will enjoy it)!

Awhile later, things were a little better, but still not great. Of course in the Small Council, they were more worried about King Viserys' heir instead of focusing on Queen Aemma and Baelon's tragic deaths. Daemon was supposed to be next in line on the Iron Throne, since Viserys had no sons. But various people in the council opposed the idea of Daemon being king.

Rhaenyra wasn't considered a possible heir, considering nobody wanted a queen to ascend the Iron Throne. They were close to having a queen, but King Jaehaerys chose Viserys instead of Rhaenys, who was older than him. Jahaenya wasn't considered as well, since she was the youngest and a female. Not that she wanted to be queen. She'd much rather stay in the position she's in, which is just being a princess and training to fight.

"How would you feel if your father chose you as his heir?" Lucius asked in the courtyard during a break in their training. "I wouldn't want it. That title doesn't belong to me." Jahaenya replied, fixing her boots' laces. "Really? I think it would sound fun being an heir and ascending the Iron Throne." Lucius said. Jahaenya giggled and shook her head. "It sounds stressful more than anything! Besides, the title belongs to either Daemon or Rhaenyra." She added. "Who would you choose?" Lucius wondered. "I don't know. I wouldn't want to choose between my uncle and sister." Jahaenya spoke.

After they were done with training, they went back inside. As Jahaenya was walking back to her chambers, she saw her sister, who looked both happy and bewildered. "Are you alright?" She asked. "Father just chose me as his heir." Rhaenyra replied, which caused Jahaenya's jaw to drop. "Seriously?! That's incredible! Congratulations!" Jahaenya exclaimed, hugging her. "How do you feel?" "I'm not sure. I feel a little frightened, but excited all the while." Rhaenyra answered. "I can imagine. Being named heir and knowing you'll be the first queen to ascend the Iron Throne must feel surreal." Jahaenya said. It's funny that she and Lucius were just talking about being an heir, and now here she was, finding out her sister will be the future Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

As time passed, Jahaenya found herself worried about her sister. She knew that certain individuals in the Red Keep and outside in any of the kingdoms would criticize her father's decision. They'd say a woman shouldn't belong on the throne. But Jahaenya knew her sister could do it. She was brave and strong, and with enough preparation, she could become the best queen in all of Westeros.

The day came for the announcement of Rhaenyra being heir. Alicent and Jahaenya helped her get ready. It was a big day, since all the lords from the kingdoms would arrive. Many would most likely not enjoy the idea of Rhaenyra being named heir. Jahaenya would love to see the sight of grown idiotic men throwing tantrums over a woman succeeding. Wouldn't be the first time, but it still became laughable each time.

Jahaenya stood with Otto, Alicent, and Lucius, feeling immense pride and love for her sister. She deserved this title, and she was excited to see the things she'd do as queen. All the lords came up and promised to be faithful to Viserys and Rhaenyra, his named heir. Finally, Viserys stood up. "I, Viserys Targaryen, first of his name, King of the Andals, and the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, do hereby name Rhaenyra Targaryen, Princess of Dragonstone and heir to the Iron Throne." Viserys announced. Everyone bowed their heads, with Rhaenyra eventually turning to face everyone. Jahaenya held back the urge to cheer. Her sister deserved this more than anyone.

(Rhaenyra has been named heir! Awesome! Sorry if this chapter is kinda shitty and wonky. I hope y'all enjoyed it though! See you soon)!
