SCANNING THE AREA, Amato could've sworn the sound earlier was around the location that they were standing on. "I think I've heard it around here somewhere," Amato informed his friends, narrowing his eyes as he carefully studied his surroundings. "Well you better hurry up, It better be important because I'm parched with all of this running!" Mechabot flew to his master, a look of exhaustion painting his robot face.
"Running? You're literally flying Mechabot," Amato blankly corrected him, giving his robot a look of disbelief. "Whatever, flying is as equally tiring as running, okay?" The Mechanizing power sphere defended himself, crossing his arms as he turned away, acting as if he got offended. His owner could only sigh at this, a blank expression on his face before looking back to search for the source of the mysterious sound.
"Are you sure it was right around here, Amato? I don't hear anything," Pian comments dejectedly, looking over to his best friend. "Yeah, he's right. Whatever it was, it's probably just the wind, let's go home I'm getting really hungry from all of this nonsen—youch!" As Mechabot flies past a tree, a sudden object hits him from above. He began caressing his head and cursing whatever hit him, he glanced down to see a rambutan lying on the ground.
"Huh? A rambutan?" Pian blinks at the fruit rolling on the ground after making contact with the power sphere. "Then this tree must be..." Amato looks up to the tree expecting more rambutan only to notice a white long haired cat sitting atop the branches. "A cat? What is it doing up there?" He questions, scratching his head while he studies the feline. It began meowing, almost as if it was crying.
"What!? Cat?" Pian exclaimed and immediately searched for any signs of an animal on the tree. He was more than horrified to see the familiar cat of his cousin sitting on top of the branches. Marie!? Oh no, how did you get up there!? "Oh no, we need to get it down right away!" Pian panics, placing his hands on his head as he begins to worry. Amato confusingly watches his friend's troubled state.
"Why? Isn't it normal for a cat to climb trees like that?" Mechabot questions, crossing his arms not caring a single soul about that cat at all. "W-well..." Pian gulped down, twiddling his fingers nervously as he recalled his conversation with Y/n.
"Dear Cousin, I know how troublesome kitty sitting is but please do be a Dear and look after Marie if ever I'm gone. I entrust this job to you, other than Mom and Dad, you're the only one I can see who is trustworthy enough to take care of Marie," Y/n requests to Pian as she unpacks her belongings, Marie had decided to acquaint herself with Pian due to her love for attention.
