The bustling corridors of Sunghan High School fell into a hushed silence as Dong-Eun timidly stepped through its gates, her heart heavy with the weight of her own suffering. With each hesitant step, she could feel the eyes of her tormentors boring into her, their mocking laughter echoing in the recesses of her mind.

As she navigated through the sea of students, a sense of unease settled over her like a suffocating blanket, suffusing her every movement with an air of apprehension. The whispers of her classmates, laced with thinly veiled contempt, washed over her like a bitter tide, threatening to engulf her fragile spirit in its relentless grasp.
"Dong-Eun's here!"

The taunting jeers of her peers reverberated through the halls, each word a painful reminder of the isolation and scorn she had come to expect from those around her. With a heavy sigh, she lowered her gaze, seeking solace in the safety of her own thoughts. "The one that you get to see every day."

The mocking laughter that followed sent a shiver down Dong-Eun's spine, her shoulders hunching instinctively as she braced herself for the onslaught of cruelty that was sure to follow. With a sinking heart, she quickened her pace, desperate to escape the prying eyes and whispered slurs that haunted her every waking moment.

But just as she thought she could bear no more, she saw, how they had an iron with them. Her eyes widen in horror, watching as Sa-Ra just played around with it. In a monotone voice she welcomed her.

Dong-Eun's breath caught in her throat as she turned to face the speaker, her eyes widening in disbelief as she found herself staring into the cold, unwelcoming gaze of Yeon-Jin. The worst. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as the weight of their shared history hung heavy in the air, a silent testament to the bond that had begun to form between them.

"I wanted to apologize for bullying you." The sincerity in Yeon-jin's voice took Dong-Eun by surprise, her heart fluttering with a flicker of hope as she dared to believe that perhaps, just perhaps, redemption was within reach. But as she opened her mouth to respond, the familiar sting of betrayal washed over her like a tidal wave, threatening to drown her in its bitter embrace.

"I'm sorry. We even now?" The words hung in the air like a cruel joke, mocking Dong-Eun's pain and suffering with their hollow promises of reconciliation. With a bitter laugh, she shook her head, her eyes blazing with righteous indignation as she faced her tormentors head-on.

"There was no need to call the cops on us, was there? We got scared." Yeon-Jin looked at her, as if she was a little puppy, who needed her help. The thinly veiled threat sent a chill down Dong-Eun's spine, her hands trembling as she struggled to maintain her composure in the face of such brazen cruelty. With a defiant glare, she squared her shoulders, refusing to back down in the face of her oppressors' relentless onslaught.

"Speaking of which, Dong-eun... from this moment on, you'll check if my iron is hot enough." The sinister undertone in Yeon-jin's voice sent a shiver down Dong-Eun's spine, her breath catching in her throat as she recoiled from the looming specter of violence that hung heavy in the air. With a trembling hand, she reached out to push back against the darkness that threatened to consume her, her voice trembling with a mixture of fear and defiance.

"Please don't! No! They'll arrest you! Let go! Stop!" With a voice, so scared and pleading, she tried to push her predators away. But her pleas fell on deaf ears as the bullies closed in around her, their cruel laughter ringing in her ears as they sought to break her spirit and crush her beneath their collective heel. With each passing moment, Dong-Eun felt herself slipping further into the abyss, her cries for help drowned out by the overwhelming tide of despair that threatened to engulf her.

"Hey, now, what's the crime in asking for a little favor?" The mocking sneer on Jae-Jun's face sent a surge of rage coursing through Dong-Eun's veins, her fists clenching at her sides as she braced herself for the inevitable onslaught. With a defiant glare, she met her tormentors' gaze head-on, refusing to cower in the face of their relentless cruelty.

"You're making us feel weird." But even as she spoke, Dong-Eun could feel the tendrils of fear creeping into her heart, threatening to overwhelm her with their suffocating grasp. With a trembling voice, she reached out to push back against the darkness that threatened to consume her, her eyes burning with a fierce determination to stand tall in the face of adversity.

"Come on, check if it's hot or not." But Dong-Eun refused to be cowed by their cruel taunts, her voice ringing out with a defiant cry as she sought to reclaim her dignity in the face of their relentless oppression.

"Seems to be good. Try it now." Yeong-Jin went over to Sa-Ra, sat on a chair, which was there and let Sa-Ra straighten her hair. But even as she spoke, Dong-Eun could feel the icy grip of fear tightening around her heart, threatening to suffocate her with its relentless grasp. With a desperate cry, she reached out to push back against the darkness that threatened to consume her, her voice trembling with a mixture of fear and defiance.

"Somebody help me! Somebody please come and save me!"

But her pleas fell on deaf ears as the bullies closed in around her, their cruel laughter echoing in the empty corridors as they reveled in her suffering. With each passing moment, Dong-Eun felt herself slipping further into the abyss, her cries for help drowned out by the overwhelming tide of despair that threatened to engulf her.

"You're just wasting your time. Scream as loud as you can. No one'll come. Nobody will save you." But even as she spoke, Dong-Eun could feel a flicker of hope stirring within her heart, a defiant spark of resistance that refused to be extinguished by the darkness that surrounded her. With a steely resolve, she squared her shoulders and faced her tormentors head-on, her eyes burning with a fierce determination to reclaim her dignity and stand tall in the face of adversity.

"The gym teacher even gave us the key!" Sa-Ra spun around the key in her hand, smiling crazily at Dong-Eun.

With each passing moment, Dong-Eun felt herself slipping further into the abyss, her cries for help drowned out by the overwhelming tide of despair that threatened to engulf her. But even as she teetered on the brink of despair, a glimmer of hope flickered within her heart, a defiant spark of resistance that refused to be extinguished by the darkness that surrounded her. And in that moment, as she stood on the precipice of despair, Dong-Eun vowed to reclaim her dignity and stand tall in the face of adversity.

As the confrontation reached its peak, Yeon-Jin's voice cut through the chaos like a knife, her eyes burning with a mixture of anger and confusion as she addressed Dong-Eun with a note of disbelief in her voice.

"Why are you trying to be with Byeong-Ho?" she demanded, her voice laced with thinly veiled contempt. "What makes you think you belong with her?"

Dong-Eun's eyes widened in fear. How'd they knew, that she wanted to become friends with someone like Byeong-Ho? She couldn't continue with her thinking, as Yeon-Jin looked at her with that smile. "You'll stay away from her, got it, my dear Dong-Eun?"

Lee Sa-Ra, who was standing with Yeon-Jin the whole time, nodded eagerly. "Yeah, she's not worth your time, Dong-Eun."

The others, Jae-Jun, Sa-Ra and Hye-Yeong just laughed. They mocked Dong-Eun.

She just remained silent.
