It's finally race day, one of my favorite parts of race week. I got a ride from Lewis since we were needed at the same time while Nina and Mia were coming later on. I love races don't get me wrong but I often find myself during race day praying for all of their safety. I think Lewis sensed my worry because of my quietness "Lia?" his voice snapped me out of my train of thoughts "Yeah?" he paused for a second before speaking "You don't have to be worried about me or the other drivers, you know that right?" "I know but it's scary" "I know but we'll be fine, we're professionals" I just looked out of the window, it was silent until we started talking about the most random stuff like what he did in Malaysia, how England was and we were just catching up.
"And Lewis Hamilton is out of the race!" Oh no, oh my days how on earth did this happen? I took off my headphones and waited for Lewis to safely make it back to the garage while the safety car was out. He was not going to be happy about this but at least he didn't crash.
After the race:
I was so happy and so sad at the same time, Carlos had won and Charles came second, Lando third and Oscar fourth. It made my heart so happy but as a Mercedes Girly I was really sad, George was almost there, but it's fine we'll get them in Japan. Nina and Mia were talking to George while I was wrapping it up with Lewis before I went to go check on George.
Lando's POV:
Another podium secured. Let's go! I pulled up to the P3 spot and got out of the car. I was quiet happy with the result but I was more happy for Carlos, I went to hug him. He deserves this win.
Liana's POV:
I was looking up at the podium with a small smile on my face. I miss seeing Lewis up there so much. I took out my phone and took some photos. Don't get me wrong, I love Max but a change of national anthems was needed. I felt so bad for P though, she should've watched Max win and not DNF she's such a sweet child. Nina and Mia were whispering behind me about Lando staring but I didn't really care, I was lost in thought.
