Song: Softcore by the neighborhood
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! That's all I could hear, I was running for my life, trying to get my head out of the gutters. It was getting worse, and the urges were coming back. I wanted to scream for help, but I couldn't. I didn't want Lewis to worry, and I didn't want any of them to worry. I can do this alone.
I find myself sitting at a café with Lewis, Charles, and Max, none of whom are aware that the urges are coming back. "Lia are you okay?" Lewis asked in a worried tone "yeah I'm fine, aren't you guys supposed to be heading to the track?"
"We should go. Li you wanna come?"
"No I wanna sleep" That wasn't a complete lie, I was going for a run then I would sleep. I couldn't tell them that, though they should be happy, it's the first Grand Prix of the year. I just sat there playing with my food. I didn't feel like eating, so I just sipped my coffee and looked at my waffles with disgust, hoping nobody would notice. I wasn't really paying attention to what they were talking about until it was trying to go. Daniel was going to drive me to the hotel while Charles and Lewis went straight to the track, We got into the car and Daniel started driving. It was quiet. It was never quiet when Daniel and I were together, but I didn't really feel like talking. "Lia are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm just tired."
"Lia, I know you're not okay. I saw you running in the morning. Liana I'm really worried about you. You've been acting really weird these days." He called me Liana. Daniel never calls me Liana. "Don't just don't. I'm fine I've just been busy with work and I've not gotten much sleep. I'm not relapsing so don't worry"
"okay but you can talk to me about anything"We arrived at the hotel. (It was the drivers hotel so it was private and it was just the drivers, engineers, partners of the drivers and any of their siblings/plus ones). I get out of the car and walk towards the lobby with Daniel. i could feel the walls closing in but I couldn't be suspicious.
After he left the lobby I ran to my room and quickly unlocked my door then locked it. I couldn't breathe, I needed to free myself. I can't...I can't give in. Tears start rushing out of my eyes. I couldn't breathe or stand or even walk then it all just went black.
