Yawning, I head to school and I meet up as usual with Yeji, Felix and Jeongin.
Even tho me and Jeongin weren't that close before, now that he is the only one of the friend group to stay here at SEHS, we started to talk more.
Jeongin is very funny and has a cracked sense of humour.
Anyway, we all enter our classes and sit at our desks.
Not much time later, Mrs. Jung enters the classroom and we politely greet her.
<So, before starting the lesson, I have to tell you all that an event was organized in the great hall where the three best students of the Seoul National University will give a speech to talk about how to get ready for university. Basically promoting theirs> She says and I roll my eyes, already perceiving the boredom.
<It will be held tomorrow in the last hours and please all be present, we don't want to make a bad impression, right?> The teacher says and we all agree in a chorus.
Yeji catches my attention when she pokes my arm.
<Heard? Seoul National University!> She exclaims but I raise an eyebrow.
<Yes, so? Am I missing something?> I ask, not getting the point.
Yeji chuckles and Felix turns around as well, probably hearing the conversation.
<It's Hyunjin's school and consequently the same of Minho and of all the others> She explains and Felix nods, making me swing my mouth open.
Yes, because Minho hadn't even told me which school he had signed up to.
<So will he be there too?> I ask, a bit worried.
<I think so, he always works hard to study> Felix says and I nod, trying to hide the uneasiness.
In fact, it would be very likely that he is one of the best students.
I just sigh, nodding and trying not to think about it anymore for the rest of the day.
//Time skip to the next day, after lunchtime//
Me, Yeji, Felix and Jeongin are heading to the great hall together to participate in the speech of the students of Seoul National University.
Once we enter it, being some of the first to arrive, we sit in the front row.
<Have you found out who they will be?> I ask, referring to the three best students of the university.
<Yeah, I just know Bangchan is there for sure but I don't know about the other two> Jeongin says and I nod, feeling anxious.
What should I do if Minho is one of them? What if we make eye contact? Should I wave at him? No, am I crazy?
