Chapter 1

-Olivia hurry up, mom is giving us a lift if we don't want to take the bus!
-I'm coming!
I am not, I am still on my bed trying to wake up for the last day of school ,I just said that so he would stop banging on my door. The sun is out but my motivation is off. Having test in every class is not really fun. But at least it's the last day before summer. Summer is when I feel alive and can stay in the sun all day. Enjoying the weather and swim in the sea. I usually get up for a run and then then coming back to go to the beach and tan all day. After, I come back to my house and get ready to go to a party or to go on the boardwalk. But before that I still have a complete day at school. It's 6:10 and I do not want to go to school I hate school. I don't even know what to wear today and what to do to my hair. After a couple of seconds I decided to get up and get ready. I choose to wear a baby yellow tube top, some jeans short and my Birkenstock. For my hair I just brushed them as they were already straighten. I just put some mascara and summer Fridays vanilla lip balm. I ran downstairs and did my usual ice coffee and took a protein bar. My mom and my brother were waiting for me in the car so they were pretty happy when I got inside.
- Finally it took you forever!
-Mason I'm a girl of course I will take time to get ready.
- Sure, have you seen the new neighbours, he told me as he turn his head back in the front of the car because I was in the backseat.
-No, but dang the guy looks hot
-Shut up Olivia!
I hate when Mason talk to me like that. Like I was a stupid girl who didn't know anything about life. Plus, he's pretty overprotective. He acts like he's the man but we all know that he is still a mommy guy. As we pulled up to school I told my mom bye and got out of the car. I just walked straight up to my locker while my brother was heading to see his friends. He's one of the popular guy and I'm just his stupid little sister. I'm not Olivia in this school, I am Mason little sister and I don't like it. I just open my locker and took some gum, then when I closed it I saw my best friend Ava.
-Guess what, she told me
-I don't know
-Maddox is dating another girl, it's the second girl this month!
-Stop carrying about him, he's not worth it
-I know but it's just to tempting
Maddox is one of Ava's ex. Ava is a really pretty girl and she mostly have all the boys to her feet. She had all the time been pretty, the kind of boy pretty. I was mostly just sitting there in the years before. But this year was different. I started taking care of myself and actually glow up. That's when I learned that the physic is more important than the inside. I started getting invited to parties and being a popular girl, well in my class. I like it, it's fun. We just entered in our class and we did a test. That's what we did the whole day just tests. It was now 3:05 and the ring for the end of the year was ringing. Everyone is really happy especially me. As I get out of the class every one is really exited.
-Hey Olivia, Alex is trowing a party tonight, do you wanna come? Mason asked me
-Sure I'll be there!
I am pretty happy because I didn't want to pass the evening alone in my room. Ava rejoined me as I was walking outside. We just talked about the test. We said bye to every one and then we both took the bus because we live in the same street. It was my stop so I got out and said bye to her, then I ran straight to my room and changed into my run clothes. I love running it makes me feels alive. I went outside, did my little run and then I got back at my house to get a shower and changed for the party. I decided to wear a white skirt with a navy blue tube top plus my navy gazelle. I did my makeup and brushed my hair, there were still straight. I looked good. I left and went to Alex's house he lives like 5 houses away from mine. As I arrived, there were bunch of people. Some from my school but mostly not. I went there alone so it was a little bit cringe but that's fine. Mason came to me and asked if I was alright. I told him yes but that I would not stay long. That's true the party was pretty lame. Some were talking, others drinking and some were just being there. I didn't really talked to anybody, I didn't know them. So i just left, plus I was kind of tired. As I walked back home the neighbour who look fine this morning was outside playing basketball. He was in fact fine. He smiled at me so I smiled at him.
-Hi, he told me
- Hey
-Are you Masons little sister?
-Yes, how do you know him , you just moved here?
-I talked to him when he left to his friend house, he's pretty cool.
-Yeah kind off, I'm gonna go inside cus it's pretty cold
-Yeah sure bye
-Bye, I told him as I waved him a goodbye and started walking to my house.
- Wait what's your name?
-Olivia, you?
-Zach, have a great night
-You too
I sounded stupid saying that. But I wanted to be kind. So he is called zach, he's fine let's admit it. He has fluffy hair, he's tall and he have a good style. That's my type. I went inside got ready for bed and thought about zach.
