WHAT?

Gerard's P.O.V

"Y...you love me?" I said, shocked. "How could you after what I did?"
She closed her eyes and run her fingers through her hair. "I don't understand myself." She sighed. "I just do. You don't choose who to fall in love with."
I leaned forward so I was eye level with her. " Oh fuck." I cursed as a thought struck me. "Joel."
Elektra sighed. "Joel told me I should follow my heart." She looked at me. "He said you are a good guy now. So I should talk to you. Sort something out. I wasn't planning on.....ya know." She blushed as she turned away.
I smiled as I pulled her into my arms. "Joel's a nice guy." I stated.
She rested her head on my shoulder. "He is." She sighed.
"Why did you slap me?" I asked. " It hurt, by the way."
"Good." She said, pulling away to look at me. "You deserved that and more for what you put me through."
I cupped her cheek. "I'm so sorry for what I did." I said, honestly. "It's unforgivable. I wish I could change what I did."
She turned around and grabbed my hands. "You will have to find a way to make it up to me."
I smiled. "I promise, I will." I said. "I will spend all my time making it up to you."
I leaned forward and connected our lips.

One hour later.

I stood back in the room with the vocalists. Elektra was sat by Joel again. Everyone frowned at me. Even Chester and Mike.
"So it was you." Chester snapped, angrily.
"Chester." Elektra said, standing up.
He turned to look at her.
"Gerard didn't know what was happening at home." She said as everyone looked at her. "He was just a kid. A kid who got caught up in popularity. He knows he did wrong and he's trying to make up for it. He can't undo the past. But he can make sure he doesn't do it again."
Chester calmed down a little bit. "It's just...." He sighed. "It hurt seeing you hurting so much. I...."
Mike put a hand on Chester's shoulder. " It was hard for us." Mike told her.
Elektra sighed. "I know." She sat back down. "I know what I put you through and I'm sorry."
Chester shook his head. "No." He said. "You didn't ask us to help you. You didn't ask us to love you. We just...did and still do."
Elektra smiled sadly. "I know. But if I hadn't have tried to....You wouldn't have felt the need to save me."
"But we're glad we did." Mike smiled. "Because it's been a pleasure to know you."
Elektra smiled and rushed towards them to pull them both into a hug. "I love you guy's." She muttered.
The room erupted into cheers and awws.
Suddenly the door opened and a worried Mikey rushed in. All eyes turned his way.
"Gerard?" He said. "Are you okay? Ray saw you earlier looking upset. We've been looking for you ever since."
I looked at Elektra. She smiled as she walked towards us.
Mikey's eyes shot to her.
"Let's talk outside." She said as she grabbed mine and Mikey's arms.
"What's happening?" Mikey asked as we all sat at a picnic bench.
"Well..." I didn't know where to start.
Elektra grabbed my hand but kept her eyes on Mikey. "We talked." She told him. "We realized how we feel about each other. So we've decided to....err..." She looked at me, confused.
I smiled. "We decided to start seeing each other. As a couple." I said. Looking at Elektra.
I could see Mikey's jaw dropped. "After how you treated her?" He asked. "Seriously?"
Elektra sighed as she leaned her head on my shoulder. "I know it's weird." She said. "But I love him."
I smiled, then lifted her hand to kiss it.
"I always have. You can't help who you fall in love with."
Mikey sighed. "I know...but..."
I wrapped my arm around Elektra. "I can't change the past." I told Mikey. "But I can make sure it doesn't happen again. I'm going to spend my time making it up to her."
Mikey looked at Elektra. "Are you sure you know what your doing?" He asked. "I mean, Gerard has changed. But he really hurt you. How can you forgive or even forget that?"
She sat up, but kept holding my hand. "I will eventually forgive." She said, honestly. "I don't think I'll ever forget. But over time, it'll get better." She smiled at me. "With Gerard by my side."
I smiled back down at her.
Mikey sighed. "I can see that you really do love each other." He said.
We both turned to look at him
"I'm warning you though, Gerard. Don't ever hurt her again or I'll kill you myself."
I laughed. "If I ever hurt her again, I'll let you."
Elektra smiled at Mikey. "Thank you." She said. "It means a lot to know you will support us."
Mikey smiled. "I still don't quite get it. But you have my support."
I pulled Elektra back into my arms. "Cheers, bruv." I said cheerfully.
