Oda woke up to the sun peeking through the blinds, its rays shining directly into his eyes. Annoyed, he rolled over in bed to escape the glare, but suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his pancreas. As he winced from the unexpected agony, he realized he couldn't remember what had happened the night before. Despite the pain, Oda pushed himself upright and shuffled to the edge of the bed.

Every movement was excruciating, but he fought through the pain and managed to slowly sit up on the edge of the bed. Breathing in and out deeply to relieve the discomfort, he cupped his hand over the affected area and held it against his body for support.

After a few moments, Oda managed to stand up on his own and move towards the door of his bedroom. Even just walking was a struggle, and he nearly tripped over his own feet several times. He was grateful to have support when Ango came to his aid, helping him slowly navigate the stairs and sit down at the breakfast table. Oda was grateful for the green tea that Ango gave him, even though it was still too hot to drink. He sipped slowly, savoring the taste of the tea and the variety of nutritious food that had been prepared for breakfast.

However, the joy of the peaceful moment was shattered when Chūya's piercing scream echoed through the room. The sudden noise hurt Oda's ears, and he covered them to block out the ringing. He took a moment to calm himself before speaking to Chūya. Oda was glad to see that Dazai was taking care of his dishes, although he would have appreciated a less aggressive approach from Chūya. Despite the tension, Oda was able to focus on the warmth of the sun on his face and the delicious flavors of the food on his plate.

Oda felt an immense sense of pride and contentment as he looked around at the smiling faces of the orphans and his fellow adults. As long as they were together, nothing could tear them apart. No matter what dangers they faced, they would always find a way to overcome them. It was amazing how much a group of people with different backgrounds and skills could accomplish when they worked together.

Oda felt especially grateful for Ango's unwavering support throughout the ordeal. He had been there for him from the moment he first woke up that morning, making sure he got his medication and caring for him even when He was exhausted. Dazai and Chūya had been equally dedicated to their duties, always ready to jump in and lend a hand whenever it was needed. And the orphans, with their endless energy and enthusiasm, had brought light and joy into his life, no matter how challenging the situation might have been.

As he sat back and reflected on the events of the past few hours, Oda couldn't help but feel grateful. He was grateful for the strength and resilience of his adopted family, for their willingness to protect each other at all costs. He was grateful for their ability to find happiness and joy even amid chaos, and for the unwavering love and dedication they had shown towards him and the other orphans in their care.

It was a truly remarkable feeling, to be surrounded by such incredible people and to know that they would always be there for him, no matter what challenges they faced in the future.
