----------- Story continues below -----------

Okay, so this is a short film I have imagined. It starts out with your average gal walking out in a silly art style and she's chilling, it looks off in the way a dream would. She hears swerving but before she could look or process it, a car has crashed into her.

She gasps as she wakes up, hyperventilating for a few befor kind of calming down. Everything hurts. She can feel her bones moving as her lungs undulate uncomfortably. She was sat up. This was her room.

There's a knock at the door.

"Sweetie? Are you okay in there?" Voices spoke, difficult to understand or even hear right. "I'm coming in."

It looked like her mother, the body atleast. But the face...

It was smooth where her nose and mouth would be, no brows either. There were two, empty holes where her eyes were supposed to be. Not sockets, just deep, empty holes. It was incredibly difficult for any expression to be seen, if at all.

"... Mom?" The teen quietly spoke, terrified of the..."person"... in front of her.

    The lights shut off.

Then again she woke up. The same way, gasping for air. This time was different.

Everything was white. It looked like a hospital room. She was hooked to an IV, there was the sterile smell. But she couldn't move much, too painful to do so.

She could spot two people. A lady and a man. They looked like they were weeping. This was strange, and new.

If only they had checked under the bed.
