Chapter FIFTY-FIVE.

[FIFTY-FIVE]

(Time Skip Thursday night.)

Lola Randle's (POV)

Setting in bed I am waiting for Piper to come to bed, today has been amazing and this afternoon made it even better when Elena called. Piper and I was worried there for a bit when she hadn't contacted us after her and Esme left the other night but now I am relieved knowing she still plans to get to know us and especially her agreeing to them staying this weekend. Looking towards the bathroom I can see my love braiding her hair through the mirror in the bathroom and she smiles at me chuckling out, "Why that smile darling?" Shrugging I just relax back against my pillows saying, "Just happy and I do have something to tell you." She arches her brow before turning the bathroom light off and making her way to our bed. Once she is settled under the covers she leans over kissing my cheek before asking, "What is it you have to tell me darling?"

I blush and kiss her making her hum and moan into the kiss before we separate and she says, "Your being shy tonight." Rolling my eyes I shrug again making her laugh and scoot closer to me, she wraps her left arm around me and pulls me closer to her kissing my temple making me smile and sigh relaxing into her. She takes my hand lightly rubbing circles on the back of it with her thumb saying, "Tell me darling." I smile again snuggling into her she has always been my rock and makes me feel all fluttery any time she talks to me with that raspy voice of hers. I shake it off though and look at her saying, "Well after you almost revealed my middle name and took Chloe with you back to the living room Elena and I was joking around talking and she well..." She tilts her head and I blush squeaking out, "S-She called m-me m-mom!"

She tenses up and I watch her face as she thinks over what I just said than she smiles like a complete idiot and laughs making me blush more and groan as I fidget with the blankets. I look away and she cups my cheek making me look back at her saying, "Baby that is wonderful!" I look at her like "What?!" and she chuckles saying, "Ever since her and little Esme came into my studio I have had this intense motherly connection with her and that is what has had me zoning out into my thoughts. I thought I was losing my mind there at first because I thought well, I thought I was attracted to her but than when you met her for the first time I could tell you felt the same thing I did, and I finally relaxed and understood what I was feeling." I look at her in shock and blink several times when I see her blush and nibble her lip making me snort and laugh before covering my face with my hands.

All I can hear is her laughing as she holds me closer and kisses my head saying, "Oh, sweetheart that is like the fourth snort laugh today it is amazingly precious I love you so much!" I groan and uncover my face lightly smacking her thigh making her giggle a little before she wipes her eyes and looks at me asking, "How do you feel about her calling you mom?" I shrug saying, "Well, she said it in a joking manner because I was scolding her about not figuring out my middle name. But I sort of gasped and froze up for a bit and didn't come out of my shock until I heard her sniffling on the other end. I made her cry Piper and I think she feels this strange connection with us too. So, I reassured her it was ok and that I was flattered because I am and well like you said it is strong and I can't help that I want to care for her as a mother figure."

She smiles and kisses me making me smile into the kiss and snuggle more into her, when we come up for air she pecks my lips than says, "Well than darling we will take things slow and see where it leads us. I don't think she is a little, but I do know from what little she talked about her mother that she needs a mother figure in her life and I for one don't mind being it along with you my love." Smiling I peck her lips and lay my head on her shoulder saying, "You should have heard her honey she was so giggly and shy on the phone, and it was like she was opening up more. I think being on the phone instead of in person helped but I want to see her when she is like that. Also, she is so wonderful with Esme seeing them with each other and hearing her talking to her over the phone was beautiful."
