Sometimes, Cale wonders if he is in an elaborated dream or someone malicious had put him in an illusion or he is dead and swimming in the vast sea of imagination of something that he wanted for to happen, or what his inner child desired.
But no, it was all reality, and he really has left the Western continent, his kingdom,.... His home.
Oh no, it never felt like a home.. Or it may have did, back when his mother was alive. But not after that. Not in his past life, and not certainly in this one.
His home was where his mother was. But now, half of his mother's soul resides in his heart, so should he start thinking of himself as his home...?
Maybe he would have... If not for that shady, oops, the good.. And charming man to have practically whisked him away to another continent and bring him to this weird but fascinating place.
Weird, because the people here are very... Ron-like, for the lack of a better word. And not in the sense that they are scary, no they are different than Ron. They are nice, but they walk almost ghost-like.
Fascinating, because everything is new. Now, don't get him wrong, although Cale did travel around after his house was destroyed and his family died, but it was for safety. There was desperation in his movements and urgency.
Unlike now, he moved in with unknown people, but he likes it here. Even though it's only been a few hours.
He actually came to a new continent. He has never been here...
Everything was new to him, the people, the food, the clothing, the environment... Everything.
And the most fascinating thing for him? Was watching the man who made this possible for him, struggle with trying to get rid of the man, who they saved in that forest. And who is currently very confused and insists that Raphael is his brother, because he has the same face as him.
It started approximately two hours ago.
After Cale had eaten his lunch among the curious and excited gazes of the kitchen staff, he had returned to the room where the unconscious man was kept, under the guidance of Rufo.
In fact, he was carried there. Apparently, Rufo thought that he must have been tired after travelling for so long, so he carried him up.
Which embarrassed Cale to no end.
And he actually handed him over to Raphael's arms, who was coming from his room after freshening up!!!
And so, he was carried by Raphael, who was as confused as him but decided to just go with the motion and not ask anything, into the room.
They found the man, up on the bed and looking around confusedly.
"Oh, you're up." Raphael stated as he stepped inside and put down Cale on one of the couch inside the room.
"....." The man didn't reply and just stared at him.
Raphael didn't care and just sat down on the chair beside the bed.
"Can you understand what I am saying?"The man hesitated but still nodded to indicate his understanding.
"Alright, good. So..." Then, Raphael basically broke down the main points to the man about, how they found him, what happened to him and what he would do now.
"You can leave after you are alright or whatever, it's your choice. Our doctor will be checking up on you daily, so you don't have to worry. And! You don't have to pay us back."Cale felt like, the whole point of this talk was to emphasize the last sentence but, why should he point it out?
"Why don't you introduce yourself?" Hey, he couldn't help himself, alright? It was basic etiquette.
