In the eyes of those around her, Kang So-won was perfect. She graduated from one of the top universities in the nation with top marks. She found a job immediately after graduating at a big-name company that paid her immensely well. She was hopping on planes left and right, attending business meetings all over the world. She had accomplished so many things that most people her age hadn't yet. Even with the busy life she led, she was always helping her family's business. So-won was the definition of the ideal daughter.
However, in the eyes of her own, So-won was far from perfect. She was flawed at every corner and crevice, crumbling slowly and waiting to show all her imperfections. So-won could no longer keep up the facade her mother had carefully constructed for her. Everything was starting to feel suffocating and unrewarding. She couldn't do it anymore, not when she realized there was more to life than having her mother living through her. And especially not when her wasted youth was crying out from the depths within, haunting her relentlessly.
As the walls of So-won's facade broke down, she suddenly found herself transported fifteen years in the past. Maybe the universe heard her cries...or maybe she finally lost her mind. Whatever the case was, So-won was determined to rewrite the course of her life. She was going to save her younger self from her mother once and for all. And maybe...just hopefully, she was going to have enough time to go after her first love, Ryu Sun-jae (and save him)!
