(Episode 6)

Only 4 months till UA's entrance exam. You still have a lot of training to do. You were getting use to being hyper aware of your hands. In recent experiments you had found out that it only activates with your bare hands. It also only works on living things.

So recently you've been wearing gloves. It's a temporary solution until you can find a way to deactivate it when you need.

Rika has been putting you through exhausting training. Constant running. She said that because you lack any physical strength you should work on resistance and stamina.

Rika : "Hikaru messaged me yesterday. He said he wants to see you, and see how you're doing."

Y/N : "Is he coming soon?"

Rika : "He said that the wife has been having a hard time lately but he's trying to make time for it."

Y/N : "You can tell him to bring Fuyumi, it's been a while since we've talked."

Rika : "Yea, she's been kinda sad lately so her and big bro have been together more often. He even took time off from hero work just to be with her more."

Y/N : "who would have known that he would actually go through with his marriage, but I'm glad he's happy."

You remember when you went to the Todoroki house. Your mom wanted to discuss about an arranged marriage between her eldest son and Endeavors eldest daughter, both had insignificant quirks but they hoped for strong offspring.

You would have never guessed that Hikaru would actually marry her even after the given option not to. They seem happy together nonetheless. Marriage was never an option for you. No one wanted to marry someone that had no quirk.

Marriage was such a foreign concept, most people around your aged were getting married. Hikaru has a wife and Hikara, as far as you know, was planning her wedding.

Y/N : "Guess I'm next."

Rika : "Next for what?"

Y/N : "Nothing! I was uhhh, thinking out loud. Let's get back to training."

Time skip 🏃‍♀️💨

After a few more hours of training it was lunchtime. Finally, food. You wouldn't say you were a foodie all the time, but whenever it was time to eat, you just couldn't help yourself.

You had taken time off from your watering job at "Heavens Garden" and only recently started coming back to work.

You grabbed your bag and a jacket before walking out the door.

Grandma : "Y/N, are you going out?"

Y/N : "Yes ma'ma."

Grandma : "Rika will come with you, she will be there if anything happens."

Y/N : "What if I was going to a bar? Do have to make a fake ID now?"

Grandma : "Don't get all smart with me, you're just going out for lunch right? Take my card and pay to be out for today. I heard there is a street festival today to celebrate the hero's."

Y/N : "Alright fine. Where is she?"

Rika : "Right here! Just had to grab my phone."

You watched her jump out of the house and run to meet you.

Grandma : "Be back before dinner."

Rika and Y/N : "Yes ma'ma."

You walked off holding your bag to your hip. You and Rika didn't walk for very long before the sound of cheers could be heard. Once you turned the corner you saw everything.
