You all sat around the table talking about your lives. Rika had more than enough to talk about, she even talked about your life, you almost dare to say more than her own.

Rika : "I'm just so happy you're here! Ever since you got married you haven't been spending as much time with us."

The room went quiet for a moment

Grandma : "we're happy to have you here, how is your marriage going? And great grand babies for me yet 😉"

Hikuru : "Grandma!!"

Fuyumi paused at grandmas words before turning red and looking away.

Fuyumi : "none yet."

Grandma : "that's a shame, you too will make such beautiful children, and even better parents."

You watched Fuyumi smile before continuing to eat.

Hikaru : "I'm glad you think so, speaking of being a parent, did you hear from Hikara yet?"

Grandma : "about what?"

Hikaru : "She's adopting soon."

Grandma : "Adopting? I thought she wanted to have one herself?"

Hikaru : "she does but you know that woman won't ever wanna go out and date, she's to stuck up in the hero world."

Y/N : "Is it that bad?"

Fuyumi : "she's nonstop, almost frightening how determined she is."

Y/N : "well then why adopt a kid? She won't have any time for them."

Hikaru : "that's what we told her, but you know her. Stubborn mule that one."

Rika : "To we have any future plans to see Hikara?"

She looked at grandma

Grandma : "I'll see what I can do."

Hikaru : "y/n, on a serious note. Is it true you have a quirk now? Do you know why it took so long to develop?"

Y/N : "it's true, and I'm not 100% sure how it happened, but I was told it was because I was in a life or death situation."

Hikaru : "do the gloves have something to do with it?"

Y/N : "If I touch something alive with my hand, my quirk activates."

Grandma : "it's a mix between your grandfather and a reverse of mine. Where I can summon, y/n can take."

Fuyumi : "that must be scary."

Y/N : "I don't know how to reverse it, I still have a friend in the hospital being looked after."

Fuyumi : "I heard about that from dad, he said that he's never seen someone look so alive and dead at the same time."

You looked down ashamed of what you caused.

Fuyumi : "Ah! I didn't mean that! I'm sorry, I'm sure you trying your best to learn and do what you can."

Hikaru : "we should go, it's getting late and I still have to clean up the house."

You watched them get up and say their goodbyes before they left for home.

You and Rika, including the maids, stayed to clean up the table. By the time you were done you were so exhausted from the events of today that as soon as you hit you bed, you passed out.

Time skip to the day of the exam. 😜🎉

Rika : "Y/N hurry up! If you make us late we automatically fail!"
