CHAPTER 2

POV.

After folding her prayer mat and putting it on the shelf Layan went towards the window of her room that gave a clear view of their small house and just stared at the sky with a  longing look in her eyes. Unknowingly a small smile crept her face before she stood up to leave and make some breakfast for her Appa and herself.

when she reached down stairs she saw that her Appa was sitting on the sofa in the lounge doing zikr on his rosary . She smiled seeing her Appa and went towards him to greet him.

" As-salam-u- Alaikum  Appa" she said while kissing the back side of his palm.

Her Appa smiled looking at her daughter and said " wa-Alikumuassalam wa-Rahmatullah My dear Appa be sacrificed on you Layan." He said while kissing her clothed head.

she closed her eyes living the small moment before smiling and saying

"Appa I am going to make breakfast for both of us. I will serve it in 20 minutes"

Her Appa nodded his head and she left to the kitchen to make breakfast for two.

After making breakfast she called her Appa to eat . While they both were eating Mr. Nasir said" Dear what happen to your job hmm did they accept it or not?" he said in a soft voice with a soft smile on his face. Layan also smiled and said " Please pray for me Appa today I am going to give interview in the biggest company of Seoul Pray for me that Allah have mercy on me"

Mr. Nasir smiled and said "My love the faith is what Allah loves the most and the most precious gift is Imaan that Allah has gave you so  nothing will be hard just have faith in your creator he is the one who creates paths for his servants."

Layan was listening to her Appa with a innocent look on her face and she replied with a "Insha Allah"

The interview started at 9:30 am so Layan started to get ready on 7:00am because she has to take the bus. she took a shower before getting ready.  She wore a beige wide pants and a black long shirt and a beige color long coat with a matching black hijab on her head. she wore her white sneakers and did a natural makeup before applying a little amount of perfume just to satisfy herself.

After that she took her bag and put her belonging in it before leaving her room and heading downstairs.

Her dad was waiting for him in the living room so she went towards him and her Appa said

" May Allah keep you safe from every evil eye and give you success my child . Appa be sacrificed on you. My dear daughter remember that your mother is happy seeing you this strong. "

Layan bottom lip trembled on the mention of her mother but she promised that she won't cry for someone who left them so she just smiled and hugged her Appa.

"Go my child may Allah give you success and fulfills your every wish . Dear Appa's Pride your my pride."

She just smiled before saying "Allah hafiz Appa" and left the house to the bus station that was 15 minutes away from their home.

She sat in the bus and headed towards her destination while doing zikr on her rosary to get rid of her nervousness .

 After she reached her stop she hoped down from the bus and started to walk towards the company.  It was a 10 minutes walk and she was continuously doing the zikr. She reached the company and stood outside the huge building just looking at the  front look of it before saying "Bismillah" and entering the building .
