I'm in Jaipur now, it's midnight. We,me and Rohit, are at the hotel.Rohit's getting the key.His room was in front of mine.We were standing infront of our rooms.

"When is the event starting?",I inquire as Rohit, on the verge of entering his room, turns to respond.

"It's scheduled for tonight; just a conference for today. The real excitement with shows and all starts tomorrow," he explains after a moment of contemplation.

"Great, that means I can catch up on some much-needed sleep," I think to myself as we both head into our rooms.

Recalling a previous visit to Jaipur with my family, my memories of that time are hazy, almost like fragments. Memories should be vivid and clear, but mine seem distant. Anyway, it's time to change and hit the sack.

I decide to take a cold shower to clear my mind of the negative thoughts that seem to be creeping in, as they always do.

"Come on, Bhumi, snap out of it. You're here to explore Jaipur, attend the conference, enjoy the event, and then head back home. Everything will be fine. Just relax," I reassure myself while looking at my reflection in the bathroom mirror. Maybe it's just jet lag playing tricks on me. I need to rest.

With that, I slip into the cozy hotel bed, allowing sleep to wash over me.

Time skip
I woke up early this morning, which is not my usual routine, but I had a good rest on the airplane.

"Hey there, can I have a cup of tea delivered to room 176, please?" I requested from room service.

While waiting for my tea to arrive, I decided to freshen up. I took a shower and put on the bathrobe provided by the hotel.

Next, I unpacked my suitcase and picked out a simple yet stylish outfit for the day. I opted for a pink shirt paired with cream straight pants, black heels, and a black purse.

As my tea was taking longer than expected, I decided to text Niyati. Just as I reached for my phone on the side table, there was a knock on the door.

I opened the door to find the room service attendant with my tea and some additional snacks that I had ordered later on.

After finishing my snacks, I gave Niyati a call.

"Hey, come join me. I'm all set to explore Jaipur today," I exclaimed with excitement.
