12. Anniversary Party

Bhumi entered in her office and admired the interior which was designed by her friend,Niyati,as she is interested in interior designing.

They have been the CEOs for about one week.The employees were quite satisfied with them as they were kind and encouraging,some of them were a little cold but they were not harsh on the employees.

Niyati's office
Niyati was checking the files related to their new project.That's when she heard a knock on the door.She answered,the person came inside, Niyati didn't even bother to look at the person as she already knew who it can be and with she asked,
N- Is there any problem,Miss Riya??
R-Mam,there was a call from Mr. Basotiya,our old Business partner, they are inviting you for a party he throwed for his 25th anniversary,he also sent the invitation card.
Riya said showing Niyati the Invitation card.
N-Okay,but you have to accompany me as I'm new and I might be unknown to some people.
R- No problem mam.
N- Be ready at your home at 6:00pm,I would be there with my driver,also, share your residency address to me for the same.
R- Sure,Mam.
With that she left her office,not before greeting her.

It was 5:10 in the evening,Niyati has already packed her stuff and we can say she was ready to go home.She straight went to the parking lot with elevator.It was 5:25 when she reached home,she got fresh,ate some snacks and got ready for the party,she wore a black dress that comes up to her knees,with a black coat giving the dress a formal look. She paired it with black dior heels and a black chanel clutch.

She was now standing in front of her house,beside her Black Porsche 911 (It was her dream to buy this car and as her old company was well-paying, and with some money she had been saving since her teenage years and also with her parents help,she managed to buy it) There she saw her driver using his phone,as soon as he saw her, he immediately kept his phone in his pocket and greeted her,she greet him back and bowed as he is elder than her.
She told him Riya's address.

They were now infront of Riya's house,she was already standing there indicating she was waiting for them.She wore a black pant,with black turtle neck and a black coat.She opened the door with her right hand as her left hand had her purse.

They were now in front of the Basotiya villa.Niyati entered the garden of Basotiya Villa,in which the party was organised,followed by Riya.
They met Mr and Mrs Basotiya.They were talking only until Mr Basotiya said
Mr.Basotiya- Look,here is my always late son.Come let me introduce you to him.
He said to Niyati.
Mr.Basotiya- Niyati,he's my son, Satwik Basotiya.Satwik,she is daughter of my college friend and the CEO of Mathur Textile Empire,Niyati Mathur.
Soon after,Mr and Mrs Basotiya started greeting other guests leaving the youngsters in awkward silence. The silence was soon broken by Riya
R- Mam,Bhumi and Siya mam.
She said pointing towards a table. Niyati saw them talking to each other and started marching towards them along with Riya after asking Satwik to accompany them to which he agreed.

She stopped and stood in front of their table,while they were in utter shock.
S- You will live for 100 years Niyati.
N- May I ask HOW?
S- We were just talking about you.
B- We were missing you.
R- Mam,Rohit and Noor(Siya's assistant) didn't came??
She asked as these three,Riya,Rohit and Noor,were college friends.
S- No,they didn't.(Siya said teasing her)
Riya became sad.
B- They are here, she was just kidding,they are there.
She said pointing towards another table.Riya became happy and the others chuckled.
R- (to Niyati) Mam,can I go there?
N- Of course,you can.Go and Enjoy.
Riya went to them the other two were really happy seeing the Jaan of their group.
N- Oh guys I forgot to introduce him to you,meet-
Before she could continue,the three of them feel someone hitting them on their head.They turn around and saw their friends,more like brothers, Abhinav, Anshuman and Vivek.What they didn't know is by this they are waking up the sleeping lion which can be scary.

S- What the hell,do you guys forgot that you are now a CEO,what will people think leave the people,the media,they will not even think for a second before making rumours about us and that will do nothing but defame us and our company.
She said as it was a businessman's party there were media,who would not think twice before making up the rumours.
An- Stop now,we are sorry that was clearly not intentional.And yeah,trust me while shouting you look not less than a chhipkali.
He said pulling his friend,more like sister's leg.He said to lighten the intensity of atmosphere that time,that doesn't mean he was disrespecting her,he knew she was right,every single word she uttered that time was true and not only him other's also knew it as well as him.

B- You were saying something,Niyati.
She said completely ignoring the others moreover the boys.
S- I should also start ignoring them like Bhumi.
She mumbled, loud enough that others heard it.
"As if we are dying to get your attention",the three boys said in unison.
S- You guys will make me go mad one day.
"We don't have to make you made cuz you are already", the three boys said in unison,again.
N- Okay,stop already guys.Meet him,he is Satwik Basotiya,eldest son of Mr and Mrs Basotiya.
He greeted them, the two girls greeted him back.
But,
"We already know him",said the three boys in unison,once again,and with a smirk.
"I was not telling you three",Niyati said answering them with the same smirk.
The boys scoffed and before the can do another savage comeback, someone screamed "Bhumiii".
They turned to the direction from which the voice came only to find Anushka Kumari and Gupta coming towards them with Kumari screaming Bhumi's name.
An- (he sighed sadly at the sight of Kumari coming towards them and said) I can see my peace flying out the door.
The others chuckled.
Ak- Hello Everyone,oh hii bro,how are you,I didn't know you were coming too.
She said to Satwik.
Satwik- This is my house Anushka and this party is also organised by me and my parents.
Ak- Oh I didn't know,my brother said we are going to a party and I came running after I got to know that my first love would be there too,which is only one thing,FOOD.
Ab- (he said to Anshuman)You weren't wrong bro,mine went too.
Vi- Not only you two,me three.
S- Me four
N- Me five
B- Me six
Satwik- Me seven
Ak- What you all are doing,do you all forgot counting or what??
She said with frown on her face.
Ak- Well,whatever, I'm going,come Anushka,You kids start learning.
She went pulling Anushka Gupta with her.
Satwik- It looks like she hasn't eaten anything from ages.
S- I agree.
An- Me two
B- Me three
Ab-Me four
N- Me five
Vi- If you all are doing it then,me six
They all laughed together.
Vi- Well Satwik, how do you know Anushka??
Satwik- Family friend but she's more like a sister to me.
Right after he said,he got a call.
Satwik- Guys,wait,my friend is coming, I will go and get him.
V- Sure,go fast.
They all shifted to a big circular table, leaving four seats,two for the Anushkas and two for Satwik and his friend.
Soon, Anushkas came,as it was cake-cutting time,after eating starters.
Soon after,they saw Satwik coming towards them with a familiar figure.
