Vincenzo Marino's nod was all Anshuman needed to set his plan in motion, a plan that would change the course of their lives forever.

Vincenzo's eyes narrowed. "So, Anshuman, tell me, why do you want Kiaan Agrawal so badly?As you said he was your friend,but now you want to see him killed then you can also betray us."

Vincenzo takes every step deliberately.He has already cross checked the informations Anshuman has provided but he wants to go in the depth of situation.

Anshuman's mind raced back to the past, to a time when friendship and love had become tangled in a web of heartbreak.

Flashback

College days. Anshuman, Kiaan, and Vidyut were inseparable friends. They met Kavya Rai, and both Kiaan and Vidyut fell for her. Anshuman, not wanting their friendship to suffer, made them promise to prioritize their bond over their feelings for Divya.

But fate had other plans. Kavya chose Vidyut, and Kiaan slowly drifted away from the group. Anshuman, trying to maintain their friendship, became close to Divya and accepted her as his sister.

One fateful night, Anshuman received a drunken call from Kiaan, threatening to harm Divya if he couldn't have her. Anshuman rushed to the cafe,finding Kiaan arguing with Divya.

In a fit of rage, Kiaan tried to stab Divya, before Anshuman intervened, he already stabbed her.Guilt took over Kiaan as he realised what he did.

Anshuman called ambulance and went to Divya.Soon,Vidyut arrived, and Kiaan fled the scene. Divya's last words were "Vidyut, he... your friend... Anshuman." The police and ambulance arrived,both Vidyut and Anshuman was taken into custody.

The trial was a blur. Mr. Yadav, Anshuman's lawyer, proved his innocence, but the case was closed only after the judiciary received a bribe from Kiaan's family. Anshuman was left with a heavy heart, knowing the truth but unable to speak out.

Present day

As Anshuman ended with telling him his past,Vincenzo Marino's eyes seemed to bore into Anshuman's soul.

"I see,"he said, his voice dripping with understanding. "You want Kiaan for revenge."

Anshuman's eyes locked onto Vincenzo's. "I want justice."

"So what do you want me to do?", Vincenzo said, resting on his back.

"I want you to help me get kiaan from the Germans and make him confess his crime on his own.", Anshuman stated.

"Taking help from a Mafia to catch a murderer and then handing him over to police seems inappropriate for me."

"You have a clean personality as a business man in front of the world,you would not be affected with this,I guarantee you.And about Kiaan,we would portray the situation in such a way that he is behind me, which he is,and he called me and before killing me he confessed his crime when in actual we would be forcing him to confess."

"I understand what's your plan is.You got a nice mind, thankfully you're in business world and not in mafia world otherwise you would be ruling."

Vincenzo chuckled at his compliment and Anshuman finally feeling the ease in atmosphere relaxed.

"I would get Axel too."

"Yeah"

"Kiaan is also helping Germans to ship illegal drugs in India."

"Is that so?"

Vincenzo nodded.

"How many of your friends know about all this?", Vincenzo asked , turning serious again.

"My some other friends know."

"What if they betray you?"

"They can be trusted."

"Is anyone of your group related to Kiaan,or any possibility of them knowing each other except you?", Vincenzo asked as he sensed Anshuman hiding something.

"It's Bhumi Agrawal, he's her cousin."

"That's close relation, he's her brother and what's the possibility that she would not help her brother?"

"First of all, she's not in good terms with him.. Second she only knows that I'm planning against one of my friend and does not know it's her cousin.And last of all,after giving bribe to court, Kiaan was living peacefully in India,Bhumi caught him with illegal drugs and that's why he ran."

"Tell her the truth only if you're sure that she'll not help him."

Anshuman nodded, confused,as the main thing in friendship is transparency and he doesn't want to risk his friendship.
