Devastation at USJ

The next few days continued as normal. Luz walked with Izuku to class. Aizawa was oddly the only teacher to not give Luz a side eye, but everyone ignored it for the most part. On their second day of classes there had been a minor incident when a number of reporters managed to make it onto the property, but Luz and Ida had worked together to calm everyone down. Luz released a blinding flash to stun and quiet everyone, so Ida could direct everyone to relax and return to class.

Afterward there had been a blind vote for Class Representative, and the class was split. Ten voted for Luz and ten for Ida. One vote was for Amity, but that one ended up tossed and people just assumed Amity had voted for herself. Luz ended the deadlock with a laugh though, "Sorry, but I'm not a good fit for the job. In a fight, I'm your girl, but otherwise... I just don't have the patience needed to manage the minuet details of day to day leadership. I voted for Ida, and I think Momo should be his second. They have the right mind for it. Anyone opposed?"

Everybody agreed, and Ida laughed, "I accept, but only with the stipulation that Luz is our war general. I doubt it will be necessary, but if something like what happened earlier happens again... I can't think of a better choice. After all I voted for her initially." This was met with nods of approval and Aizawa letting out a sigh that it was finally over.

Things felt fairly normal until Aizawa made an announcement, "Ok, little eggs. The support course just finished your costume orders, so we are going to go do some training with them. Grab the case with your name, and head over to training ground beta to meet up with your Heroics teacher."

All of the students got excited at finally getting to try on their costumes, but Izuku felt nervous. All of his nerves evaporated when he noticed a little three eyed doodle by his name, and he felt reassured. When he looked over to check on Luz he saw a smirk as she pointed to an identical doodle by her name.

Izuku's uniform consisted of a full body green jumpsuit with a red belt, a pair of red fingerless gloves like Luz's black ones, and some knee and elbow pads. After Luz pointed out that the long protrusions he intended to have on his hood/mask could be mistaken for rabbit ears he had agreed to shorten them so they had a similar look, but were less likely to be grabbed during a fight. He also had a respirator mask with a shape like a smile to finish the look. Underneath was a small note, "Hey Zuzu. Your mom wanted to help me get this perfect, so we co-opted a bit. Hope you love it, Sweet Green." Izuku snorted at the old nickname.

While most people expected Luz's costume to be super bright or black it was instead a combination of scarlet, deep purple, and silver. A hooded dark purple cloak with a screeching silver horned owl embroidered on it with a red bat in her talons. It's eyes were heterochromatic red and blue, and its outstretched wings looked like they were covered in stars. Underneath was a sleeveless red armor-like tank top and matching track pants. The whole costume had silver inlay that couldn't be seen, but Luz felt it when she flexed her quirk, and subsequently made the armor more rigid.

Both teens went with their usual footwear since they were the most comfortable, and if they had to run they wanted something that they could trust. For Luz black work boots, cheap but sturdy, and for Izuku his normal red sneakers. As they walked Luz marveled at Amity in her costume. It was a shoulderless black dress with gray leggings, and cat-like clawed boots and gloves. Her gloves covered her forearms to the elbow, and had open palms to allow her to release goo from them on the fly while still looking like elegant theater gloves. To Luz she looked heavenly, and Lucia wasn't helping as she pointed out the shape of Amity's butt or how Amity's hair framed her face and made her look even more elegant. Luz knew Lucia was just trying to make her flustered, and she hated that it was working.

When they arrived they found All Might waiting in his buff form. "Have no fear, for I am here. Good morning students. Today we will be doing mock battles. It will be a classic two vs two set-up, but since we have an uneven number, one of you will get the extra challenge of having to fight alone, while one team will have to confront them in one final clash."
