Ronnie was waiting in her apartment that she shared with Noelle for George to turn up, Noelle was out with Tilly, April and Alex— Ronnie had been invited to hang out with her friends but she was determined on getting this song finished and written up so that she could get straight on with recording. While Ronnie was in her bedroom she was going through her phone while writing lyrics and words down in her note pad, there was a quick knock on her door and as she left her room Ronnie opened the door to see George standing in front of her with a smile while holding a bottle of gin.
"You know a way to a girls heart George." Ronnie joked as she let her friend into her home
"You still got a block?" George asked as he kicked off his shoes and followed Ronnie into the kitchen where she grabbed two glasses and filled them with ice, before grabbing a large bottle of lemonade out of the fridge and heading into her bedroom
"It's honestly the worst." Ronnie huffed as she placed the two glasses down on her beside table "I have some words and sentences but for some reason nothing seems to be flowing together correctly. Maybe I shouldn't write about 'you know who' and maybe I should write about something else." Ronnie said
"Like what? What would you write about instead?" George asked as he opened the bottle of gin and started to pour some into both of the glasses that were for him and Ronnie, he then proceeded to fill them up with lemonade, while George was doing this Ronnie picked up a framed photograph of herself, George, Noelle, Tilly, Cam, Arthur, Alex, Arthur and April that was taken at a party that they all attended together
"Well what about you guys?" Ronnie asked
"You want to write about your friends?" George asked
"I don't see why not you guys are my best friends you helped me through that whole breakup and we all know I wasn't the easiest to deal with when it happened." Ronnie explained,
"Yeah single Ronnie is definitely better than heartbroken Ronnie." George joked which made Ronnie laugh a little bit.
"Yeah she was quite insufferable." Ronnie laughed "I'll think about it, as much as I love you guys friendship songs don't sell heartbreak does."
"So what are you saying Ronnie?" George asked curiously,
"We're going to get drunk and write about my breakup." Ronnie said as she took a large gulp of her gin and lemonade before pouring herself a new one which George laugh.
