Taylor moved into the apartment at the end of the week, and it started to feel like home again.

They had a huge Christmas Tree set up in the corner of their living room, right next to the window, and Cameron met the surprise of her life when Taylor brought in her last set of suitcase and on top of that sat a white cat, with the most judgemental eyes Cameron had ever come across.

"You did not tell me about the cat," Cameron accused, unwilling to break eye contact as she participated in a staring contest against her best friend's cat, who meows loudly at that moment. "What if this apartment complex doesn't allow pets?"

"Well, I would just hide Meredith. But I searched it up before I agreed to move in, they don't want exotic animals but everyday pets are okay," Taylor shrugged nonchalantly and counted her suitcases. She had packed most of her essentials for a week. The rest of her belongings are being driven on a truck from Nashville. Cameron doesn't hate cats, but it has definitely caught her off guard.

She let out a triumph cheer when Meredith looked away first. "So why Meredith? Was she named after someone or is it just a 'she looks like meredith' kind of thing?"

"I named her after Meredith Grey, actually," Taylor shrugged, opening the cage to let Meredith out. The cat jumped out immediately, meowing as she circled Cameron. Cameron cooed at the cat and let out a yelp when she jumps into her arms.

"OH MY GOSH THERE'S A CAT IN MY ARMS! TAYLOR WHAT DO I DO!" Cameron holds the cat with her two arms extended as far away from her as possible, and Taylor was throwing her head back laughing. "STOP BEING USELESS AND HELP ME. OMG HE'S ON MY NECK NOW, WHAT THE FUCK!"

Cameron shrieked and try to run away when Meredith had her body on Cameron's head and the other half on Cameron's shoulder. This was not how she had pictured moved in days. She was not acquitted to deal with a cat.

"IS THAT ANOTHER BLOODY CAT? TAYLOR ALISON SWIFT!"

Olivia Benson was the opposite of her sister, and she strolled around Cameron's feet for a few minutes before getting bored and exploring her new home. Meredith was still on Cameron's head, and it took Taylor ten minutes before she could coo the cat into her arms. Cameron had half the mind to throw that cat out of her apartment window but she was not a cat murderer, no matter what Taylor said.

At the end of the day, they curled up on the sofa and ended up watching Grey's Anatomy together while Cameron threw popcorn into Meredith's fur. That cat had its eyes set to destroy her, Cameron had the stretch marks to prove it. There was no way that cat had any other agenda but to kill her.

"You're giving Meredith a bath after this," Taylor gave Cameron a look, and she sputtered in annoyance.

"I am not! She's your cat," Cameron glared, shoving a handful of popcorn into her mouth while Meredith stared up at her with two big eyes. She flipped Meredith off. "I am not giving you a bath."

"You throw popcorn into her fur, you need to bath her before she jumps into my bed for the night," Taylor glared back.

"Well, it sounds like your problem for letting this bloody cat sleep on your bed. If I was you, I will let her sleep outside the door," Cameron pointed accusingly to Meredith. "Right where you belong."

Taylor looked unimpressed and she paused Grey's Anatomy. "Don't bully my cat."

"Bully her? SHE BULLY ME FIRST!" Cameron exclaimed, before huffing and standing up and shoving the popcorn into Taylor's hands. "FINE!"

Cameron stormed towards Meredith, and before the cat had a second to register what was happening, she was picked up by the belly by a really angry brunette, who was shouting curses as she slammed the bathroom door shut.
