I sit down I'm at my desk and look down at my watch.This bitch was late.I can't believe that Emerson...my daughter in law was spawned by her.It has to actually be a mistake.

"Mrs.Carrington your 3 o'clock is Here"."God fuck finally".

Leighton Harper walks in casually before setting her purse down in the chair and crossing her legs.

I look up at my assistant and say "That will be all".

She nods her head before closing the door on her way out."Banks..why did you call me here?I was about to go to lunch with my Wife".

"Yes well I'm sure This is more important".

"nothing is more important than Spencer and Emerson"She says coldly.

She reminds me of me..only slightly more annoying and less hot."It has to do with Emerson".

He eyes widen and her whole demeanor shifts."What is it".

I cross my hands in the desk and lean forward."I propose a marriage between our daughters".

"They are already dating and I see no way of them breaking up.You could do a lot with using the Carrington name".

Leighton's eyes darken and she clenches her jaw."I've worked my ass off for 40years and you think I need a hand out?"she says shocked.

"I don't think you know how to listen.I said you could benefit from it.I never said you had to have the Carrington name.I like Emerson.If she wants to be a Carrington-".

"-She is a Moreau.And she will stay a Moreau".

"Not if she marries my daughter.She will be a Carrington".

Leighton presses her lips together in a thin line."Emerson Carrington.Emerson Carrington.That doesn't even fucking sound right.If my daughter wants to marry yours, she has every right to.My princess is allowed to have anything and everything she wants because I will protect her".

Leighton leans forward and glares at me."But her name ain't changing.She's a Moreau.And she will stay a Moreau.Its what she wants and what she's communicated with us since she was 15.And that's even after meeting that daughter of yours".

I nod my head and say "I see you don't stand your ground".

Leighton pauses and says "Excuse me?".

"I mean you ended up getting your wife's last name.Instead of having her take yours".

"Spencer wanted to keep her name fully.And I don't care what the problem was,I was going to make it happen".

She pauses before smiling at me."I think I know what this is about".

"Really?"."You must've seen the wealth list of 2024.Im sure you saw that The Moreau family is 3rd only to you at 2nd.Are you intimidated .Is that what that is?".

"I'm Banks Carrington.I don't stray away from a challenge".

I look at her seriously before grabbing my picture frame and turning it."I happen to have the smartest, most beautiful wife in this entire Fucking world".

Leighton's eyes widen and she scuffs. "She doesn't compare to my Spencer.Not only is she French but she's French royalty.And did I mention she has the most beautiful eyes anyone has ever seen".

"Zoe's eyes could win trophies for its beauty"."Spencer would still have more".

Leighton holds her chin up and says "Spencer only needed to have one of mine.Emerson is enough of perfection to better 3..hell even 10  child of my own".

I pause from reading my book and lookup.Did she just?

My eyes go wide as Nadia glares at Aspen."Exucse me?"Aspen says.

"He will see the error of his ways".I roll my eyes as Blair laughs.

Blair glares at her as I go back to reading my book."You know this is makes so much sense.You don't want me to be in your family.Thats what that is huh".

Nadia smirks and says "You don't have what it takes.You will never have what it takes.My brother will get bored of you and throw you out to the curb".

She pauses before laughing."I don't even think he would be interested in you in the first place.It would always be about gets his dick hard.So if I were you I would just drop this senseless obsession you have with Knox".

Aspen does resemble Jade in a sense but there is a stark difference.

Jade had grayish-blue eyes while Aspens was a bright blue.And Jades hair was a darker blonde than Aspens bright blonde.

Knox has always had a thing for Blondes but when he sets his mind on someone,it isn't going away.

So this little dangerously obsessive thing he has with Jade,isnt going away.He made that clear to us multiple times.He has a year left here at Callister and Jade has no plans of leaving.She love teaching and even Knox couldn't push her away from that.

I point to the exit and they all thankfully leave.I sigh in relief and go back to reading my book.

"Ms.Moreau".

I look up to see Headmaster Adel staring at me.Oh great.

She smiles brightly and says"It's a good thing that I caught you"
