The Winter Olympics are here.

The snow is as beautiful as diamonds. It's not the regular snow that covers houses and roads. It's soft and extremely white snow, almost as if millions of fairies fly through the winds.

Froston is the first stop for Team Rose. They can't wait to get to their hotel and do some exploring later on.

"I am going hiking with Blaze, but I promise I won't be out too late. I know we have practice early morning," Silver puts a scarf around his neck as he slowly makes his way out of Amy's room.

"Silver, I know you like Blaze and all but can you wait until we are done with the competition to hang out with her?" Amy looks at Silver with concern in her eyes. "I wouldn't have a problem if you didn't have a history of being reckless."

"Reckless? Me? Come on Amy, I'll stay safe."

"I just don't want you to get injured, we are one week away from the partner skating competition after all."

"I know, I know!" Silver says. "But I promise you I'll be fine. It's not like I am gonna break my leg or anything."

.

.

.

"Well, at least I didn't break my leg."

Silver smiles awkwardly as a doctor tightens his arm bandages.

"Yeah, because two broken arms are not good enough," Amy mentally facepalms her face. "You do know you need your arms to carry me for the competition right?"

"I know! I am sorry!"

"Now what are we supposed to do?"

Silver had one option in mind. He didn't like the idea very much. Especially because the hedgehog in question wasn't known for being a good team player. However, seeing that Amy was desperate for a partner and that he made a mistake, Silver knew what he should do.

"Don't worry Amy, I messed up and I'll fix it," he says as he smiles, trying to pretend that he wasn't in pain at all.

"But how?"

"I said don't worry," Silver says again. "Just show up tomorrow to practice at the skating rink, alright?"

"Really?"Amy's green eyes shine as there is hope again. Silver just hopes he will be able to convince him.

"Trust me."

Amy woke up at four in the morning to get ready for training. That meant taking a shower, eating breakfast, and going for a run. Then hitting the ice rink. She still doesn't know how Silver will fix everything but she definitely didn't want to pull out of the competition, they have practiced a long time for this.

"Shadow?"

Amy slides through the ice rink as Shadow is in the middle of it. He crosses his arms and looks a bit uncomfortable and ridged. It's not something appealing to an ice skater.

"What are you doing here?"

"... I owe Silver a favor."

Everything starts to click for the pink hedgehog. Her heart began to beat faster. Her anxiety is through the roof. She doesn't mind Shadow, but having trust in your partner is the number one thing you need to do ice skating. And she doesn't know Shadow that well.

"You want to be my skating partner?" Amy asks hoping that Shadow would say no and this was actually a joke.

"Like I said I owe Silver a favor," Shadow says. "I have no choice."
