It was only a week of preparation due to my academic responsibilities, and it was a thorough week of thinking for me because I wanted to be specific with every detail that I put in my invitation, leaving no room for vagueness.
When Thursday morning came, I immediately sent it to him before I went to school because I might not have time later in the day. I also wanted to avoid making the invitation too short-notice, as one of the date choices was Friday evening.
He didn't tell me that he finished filling up the form, so my only indicator was my email notifications.
I replied late because the thought of giving him a thank you note, which might indicate that I had already read his responses, slipped my mind. I only remembered it when I finished my last-minute activity for the next day.
