Sourav took a deep breath, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "Well, let me tell you, I did something totally crazy. It might sound stupid, but it actually worked out for me. You know how love makes people do wild things, right? We get all wrapped up in our feelings and end up doing anything just to win over the person we love."

Vanshika's eyes widened with curiosity. "What did you do?" she asked, leaning in closer, her interest piqued.

flashback

Team India had just landed in beautiful New Zealand for an exciting ODI series. They were pumped and ready for action, but there was a week-long gap before their next match. The team was staying at a cozy hotel nestled in the heart of a picturesque landscape. Not too far from their hotel was a charming village, famous for its stunning natural beauty and traditional charm.

One sunny morning, some of the younger players, always up for an adventure, approached their captain. Their eyes sparkled with excitement as they made their plea.

"Dada," they called out to Sourav, "can we explore the village nearby? We've heard it's amazing and we've got some time to kill."

Sourav, always supportive of team bonding and new experiences, smiled and nodded. "Sure, boys. A little fresh air and change of scenery will do us good. Let's make a day of it."

The next morning, the team set out on their mini-adventure. The village greeted them with open arms. It was a place out of a fairy tale, with cobblestone paths winding through fields of wildflowers, and quaint cottages with smoke curling from chimneys. The air was crisp and filled with the scent of blooming flowers and freshly baked bread from a nearby bakery.

As they wandered through the village, they couldn't help but be captivated by its beauty. Towering trees provided shade along the pathways, and birds sang sweet melodies that echoed through the air. Every corner of the village had something enchanting to offer, from colorful market stalls selling handmade crafts to friendly villagers who waved and smiled as they passed by.

In the heart of the village stood an ancient well, wrapped in history and mystery. It was adorned with vines and flowers, and a small wooden sign hanging above it read, "Wishing Well." The villagers believed that if you tossed a coin into the well and made a wish, it might just come true.

Viru caught sight of the well. His heart skipped a beat with excitement. "Dada... Dada!" he called out, sprinting towards his captain.

Sourav, who was busy examining a map with a thoughtful expression, looked up, slightly annoyed at being interrupted. "What is it, Viru?" he asked, his tone a mix of curiosity and impatience.

"Come with me, Dada! I've found something really special for you," Viru said, barely able to contain his enthusiasm as he tugged on Sourav's sleeve, urging him to follow.

Reluctantly, Sourav allowed himself to be dragged across the village square to the well. Viru stopped in front of it, his face lighting up with joy. "Look, Dada, a wishing well! You know what to do, right? Just throw a coin in and make a wish!" he said, his voice brimming with excitement.

Sourav glanced at the well, then back at Viru, his expression unamused. "Seriously, Viru? You actually believe in this stuff?" He rolled his eyes, turning away as if the very idea was beneath him.
