Sourav took a deep breath, his eyes glazing over as he recalled those moments. "Before everything fell apart, we had this amazing weekend at my house. It was one of those perfect times, you know? We stayed up late, talking and laughing like there was no tomorrow. The nights were magical, filled with warmth and closeness that I thought would last forever. We felt so connected, so right."

Sourav paused, his gaze distant as he relived those memories. "But then, like a storm out of nowhere, everything changed. My fears, the ones I tried so hard to ignore, became reality. And before I knew it, I was the one who caused the break."

Vanshika looked at Sourav with deep empathy in her eyes. She could feel the pain and guilt in his words. She reached out and gently touched his arm, offering silent support.

Flashback

Rahul and Sourav were spending their weekend at Sourav's house. It was supposed to be a relaxing break, but Sourav had other plans. At precisely 2 a.m., Sourav shook Rahul awake, his excitement barely contained. Rahul, barely opening his eyes, saw Sourav's eager face illuminated by the dim bedside lamp.

The room was dark and the world outside was quiet, wrapped in the stillness of the early hours. Without revealing much, Sourav guided the drowsy Rahul out of bed, helped him into some warm clothes, and led him to the car parked outside.

The night air was chilly, and Rahul shivered as he climbed into the passenger seat, still more asleep than awake. He didn't bother to ask questions; he was too tired to think straight. As soon as the car started moving, the gentle hum of the engine lulled Rahul back to sleep.

Sourav glanced over at Rahul occasionally, his heart swelling with affection. There was something mesmerizing about the way Rahul looked while he slept, his face peaceful and illuminated by the soft glow of the dashboard lights.

The car sped through the deserted streets, cutting through the night like a silent arrow. Sourav drove with a mix of excitement and anticipation, occasionally stealing glances at Rahul's serene face. The journey was part of the adventure, and Sourav found joy in the quiet moments, knowing that the best part was yet to come.

They arrived at their destination around 3:30 a.m. The sky was still a deep indigo, with stars twinkling faintly above. Sourav parked the car and took a moment to savor the peaceful silence. He took a deep breath, feeling the crisp night air fill his lungs, then gently woke Rahul.

Rahul stirred, blinking away the remnants of sleep, and looked around in confusion. Sourav, with a mischievous smile, gestured towards the hill. Rahul groaned but nodded, trusting Sourav's judgment despite his exhaustion. They started walking, the cool night air helping to wake Rahul up a bit. The path was steep, and the terrain was rugged, but Sourav was there to guide Rahul, holding his hand and encouraging him every step of the way.

After half an hour of hiking, Rahul's curiosity began to override his tiredness. He was used to Sourav's surprises, but this one felt different. There was an air of mystery and excitement that he couldn't quite place.

"But where are we going this early in the morning?" Rahul grumbled, his voice thick with frustration and sleep.

"Just a little more, sweetheart. We're almost there," Sourav said, squeezing Rahul's hand reassuringly.

Finally, they reached the top of the hill, their breaths heavy and hearts pounding. Rahul wiped the sweat from his forehead, his curiosity piqued as he scanned the surroundings, wondering what made this place so special. Sourav, with a knowing smile, gently nudged Rahul and pointed to the horizon.
