Josie lands in New Orleans, taking her first step outside of the airplane and taking a breath of fresh air instead of air that came out of a random strangers mouth next to her. Her flight to here had been absolute hell, and she was over the moon that it was finally over. Her phone buzzes in her pocket, a text from her work advisor at her new job.

Hotel room is ready for you ;)

She smiled slightly, knowing that nothing had been going wrong yet. She made her way to the arrivals of the airport, grabbing her luggage and making her way out of the building, her eyes land on the busy streets of New Orleans, excitement filling her chest as she realized she had finally taken the leap that she had so desperately needed. Her eyes land on a man with a suit, standing with a sign of her name on it, she walks towards him, putting on a polite smile and trying to seem as friendly and social as possible.

"Are you Josette?" "Josie, actually. But, yeah, that's me." the man takes off his glasses to reveal a familiar face, her whole demeanor changing at the sight of his face as a big smile appears on her face. "Rafael!" she shouts loudly as she wraps her arms around her childhood friend, he intern doing the same thing with the most genuine smile on his face. "Hey, Jo! What are you doing here?" he asks as his eyes scan her face as he lets go of her small frame. "I took an internship on the Mikaelson's reality show." the brunette answers excitedly, knowing that she wouldn't be alone in a big city all by herself made her feel so happy, having someone to turn to and who slightly knows what they're doing.

"What about you? What are you doing here?" "I'm a driver for the Mikaelson's!" he answers with an excited smile, taking his friends luggage as they walk out of the airport. "Wow, that's great, Raf, congrats." she replies happily as she stops in front of a large black SUV, she points to it giving Raf a questioning look, and he nods as a way to tell her to get in. Josie hops into the car, looking around the lavish looking interior. "When's your first day?" "Tomorrow, bright and early at 6AM." she answers with a groan, knowing how hard it's going to be to wake up the next morning. "You'll adjust. The Mikaelson's aren't harsh, they're quite sweet, just don't be an ass." "What are they like?" Josie has been known to be obsessed with the Mikaelson family, especially on Niklaus' daughter, Hope... if you were to ask her twin sister Lizzie, she would say Hope was her gay awakening.

The two of them arrive to the hotel, the male taking her bags out of the trunk and guiding her to her room, the two of them enter the small-ish room, the girl flops onto the bed with a large sigh. "Oh my god, I'm so jet-lagged!" she yells into a pillow, as her body literally goes limp as she spreads her limbs across the mattress. "I'll see you tomorrow morning, Josie." he closes her door as he leaves her be. Her eyes struggle to stay open as she finds a comfortable position on the bed, letting herself fall asleep peacefully.

The next morning she woke up, the sound of her blaring alarm shock her out of her sleep, she slowly sits up as she takes in her surroundings, remembering that she never really toured her room. Brushing off the thought she gets ready for her day, remembering that the car taking them to set would arrive at 5AM. She gets on her feet and walks toward the bathroom, switching on the hot water as she runs her hand through her hair with a sigh. Her eyes scan the room, noticing that there were three black shirts on her clothes hamper, she picks it up, seeing her name sewn into it and Always and Forever (name of the show) written at the bottom. She gets into the water, cleaning herself as quick as possible so she could still do the rest of the morning's festivities.

As she finishes she takes out a sandwich that she had made for her trip here, eating for a small breakfast that would probably not be enough to stop her from starving. She picks up her phone on the nightstand, it reading 4:50AM, she slowly makes her way downstairs, her heart beating fast, nervous for her first day on a huge job. Her eyes land on three others, wearing the same shirt as her, after a moment of hesitation she makes her way over, her breath getting stuck in her chest as the anxiety of meeting new people takes over. "H-Hey, I'm J-Josie. Are you guys interns too?" "Yeah, I'm Kaleb, that there is Finch, and that is Cleo." he points to the person as he says their names, they pick up their heads as they wave at the brunette, she nervously waves back as she sits down next to Kaleb.

"So uh... what's it like?" she asks nervously as she fidgets with her fingers. "Umm, it's cool. They don't act like famous jerks, and it's sweet to see them interact." Kaleb answers with a smile, trying to ease the brunettes nervousness. The car soon arrives, the more experienced interns stand up and head towards it, Josie soon follows, her head filled with doubts and worries but she puts them aside, putting on a brave face and heading into her new life journey with a clear head and nothing but good thoughts. She boards the car, taking in a deep breath as it starts to move, getting herself ready for the absolutely nerve-wracking day that was upon her.
