It had been three days since Josie had been on the job, it wasn't hard, but at the same time it wasn't easy, she at least had made a few friends that she could talk to and wasn't completely alone in New Orleans. Her mind kept replaying the intense moment of eye contact her and Hope had a few days ago, like a broken record and she couldn't stop it no matter what she did. A knock sounds at her door, she gets up quickly, rushing to open the door, once opening she sees Landon on the other side, in a black suit with a blue tie.

"Hey, Josette. I'm just swinging by to pick you up for your day, you're going with Miss Hope Mikaelson." "With who now?" she asks in disbelief as her jaw hangs open. "We're going to her shoot with Vogue and then her interview with BuzzFeed." her heart races a mile a minute as she follows the curly headed male to the car downstairs, her hands shaking like crazy and her thoughts going all over the place. Josie boards the car, not focusing on what's surrounding her as she stares out of the window, thinking about how the day would probably go wrong in numerous ways.

"We meet again." the sound of the auburn haired girls voice rang in her ear and startled her a bit. "H-Hi, Miss Mikaelson." she mentally scolded herself for stuttering but couldn't help it, it just came out and she couldn't stop it. "Call me Hope, I don't like formalities." she nods shakingly, taking a deep breath as she tries to calm her nerves but to no avail. "Okay, Hope." "So, uh... have you been in New Orleans long?" the older asks, to try and fill the silence in the car as everyone kept silent. "No, I've been here under a week, just here for the internship." she listens intently, making sure that she didn't miss anything she was saying. "Where are you from?" "Mystic Falls in Virginia." "Really? My dad has a house there, he lived there for a year before moving back to New Orleans."

The two of them continued with their mini conversation as the ride went on, it was nice and the convo was free flowing, it wasn't like a fan talking to a celebrity, with Josie being overly nervous and reminding Hope all the time about her status. It was like, two acquaintances getting to know each and becoming friends, and Hope appreciated that, she didn't get to have many conversations like that anymore, it only made her admire the brunette even more. As they arrived to the the auburnette's photo shoot, the three of them, Hope, Josie and Landon, followed a worker to her dressing room. Josie listened closely as the worker explains the process of the photoshoot, finding it so interesting, Hope had heard it a million times and wasn't very interested, her gaze shifted to the brunette, seeing her focus so intently was cute, she was biting her bottom lips slightly as she tried to note down everything the worker was saying.

The photoshoot went on, Josie was tasked with making sure that Hope had drunken water and taken a snack or two, she didn't really mind, it meant she could stay close and watch the shoot unfold. She watched closely as she saw how the auburnette did everything so effortlessly, she could tell that she had done this numerous times, and the outfit hugged her curves in all the right ways. Her eyes scanned her body and just didn't leave it at all, it was like being in a trance, it was literally all she saw and all she could focus on.

"Josie." Rafael snaps his finger in front of her face and pulls her out of her trance, making her snap back into reality. "Ah, I see you're a victim of the Mikaelson effect." "What's the Mikaelson effect?" "The Mikaelson effect is basically when you're watching a Mikaelson literally do anything and just find it so attractive." the brunette scoffs as she rolls her eyes. "I am not, Hope's just a really pretty girl." Rafael chuckles slightly, as his eyes land on the girl Josie is staring at, and he could agree, she is a pretty girl but the brunette was staring like a lovesick puppy and like she was the only thing in the room.

The first session of the shoot ended, Hope made her way over to Josie, grabbing a water bottle and chugging it down. "You into modeling?" "A-A little bit." she answers, her heart beating out of her chest as she tried to maintain eye contact with the aurburn haired girl. "Is it something you want to pursue?" "I don't know yet."

Hope's eyes make their way up and down her body, admiring every curve and literally everything about her, her eyes eventually reached her face and they met hers, getting trapped under their spell once again.

She eventually had to make her way back to the shoot, getting into a professional mindset once again so she can finish and go on with the ret of her schedule. As Josie watches in awe, Landon makes his way over, noticing how the brunette stared like she had been mesmerized, which made him angry in a way. How could someone stare at his ex-girlfriend like that? Especially, an intern, someone who works under him. He crosses his arms over his chest as he makes his way over to Hope, pulling her aside in the midst of her shoot to have a conversation.

"Is there something going on between you and Josette?" Hope raised her eyebrow as she looks at the curly headed male like he had gone insane and partially he has. "Nothing, and not that it matters to you, even if there was I wouldn't talk to you about it." "She's an intern, Hope." "And you're my ex-boyfriend, therefore non-existent to me." she walks away from him, going back to doing her job and getting the day over with.

Her and Landon dated for a year a couple of years ago, in all honesty, she was using him as a shield from her sexuality, when she was scared of people's reaction to it and the fear of them not supporting her family anymore. Landon had just become insufferable and judged every single one of her relationships after they broke up, she'd ask her family to fire him but he was a hard worker and they liked him so she kept her mouth shut on the matter. She really wished that he would quit eventually and wouldn't have to deal with it anymore, but it's been two years and he's still here being an insufferable asshole.

After the photoshoot finished, Hope, Josie, Rafael and Landon made their way back to the car and on to BuzzFeed headquarters for the auburnette's interview. As they wait in the living room, Josie took the opportunity to steal a few glances at Hope, her heart beating out of chest as she did. How could someone be so stunning? The question replayed in her mind over and over again and she couldn't help it, she's just a really pretty girl. Taking a deep breath, the older decides to sit next to the brunette with a polite smile on her face. "Y'know, you've been working at the show for three days yet I know almost nothing about you." the younger freezes in her position, Hope wanted to get to know her? "W-What do you want to kn-know?" she hated herself for always stuttering around her, but she truly couldn't help it. There was something about her that made her so nervous and anxious, and made her feel like her insides were doing summersaults.
