San gripped the wheel tightly, he was angry, but he didn't know who to be angry at. He didn't like seeing Wooyoung crying like that, it was more painful than losing Yeosang.

Drrt drrt drrt drrt

San stopped the car before reaching for his vibrating phone. Mingi's name appeared on the caller ID.

"What did you find out?" He could hear a chuckle on the other end of the line.

"Not much, and nothing of any interest other than the fact that he's from the same school as the three of you."

PANG

San's heart seemed to move to his knees. So this was the reason why he felt familiar with Wooyoung.

"Is that all?" He heard Mingi sigh.

"There's one more thing. Does he feel familiar to you?"

"Yeah, that's why I wanted you to find out about him and his relationship with Hongjoong Hyung."

"Of course, you'd find him familiar, San, he was around you at school, he was friends with Hongjoong and Yeosang."

"What?"

"Yeah, the three of them were friends, I don't know what happened to them, but it seems that Wooyoung distanced himself from Yeosang and Hongjoong, he then disappeared a year after you graduated, so six years ago."

"Did he have something to do with Yeosang's accident?" San seemed to hold back his emotions at the memory.

"No."

"Good, stay home, I'll leave Jongho with you." San hung up immediately, he didn't seem to care that Mingi was screaming his head off on the other end. He had enough headaches and needed a distraction.

"Sorry Yeo, I'll probably get drunk again tonight."

Wooyoung stared in disbelief at his right hand, which had slapped Hongjoong. Of course, he regretted it. Anger, sadness and disappointment all mixed together. He didn't even notice that his hand had landed on his best friend's face.

Hongjoong was his best friend, the dominant man who always stepped in when he and Yeosang fought over food. Wooyoung really missed his school days. The time before he found out that Yeosang hadtricked him and made a bet with the person he loved. He was able to forgive Yeosang when the beautiful man said he would help him take responsibility if anything happened. Wooyoung forgave Yeosang for everything he had done to him, even when he came to him tearfully apologising for making him lose his honour.

Wooyoung knew he was a special child, and that's why his mother and father were so protective of him. He knew he was able to bear children as women could, so he was careful around other men, especially dominant men.

"The two of you made me look bad."

Wooyoung remembered how Yeosang had betrayed him seven years prior, on the day of their graduation. Driven by a promise once made, he sought out Yeosang, determined to confront him and hold him accountable if he had gotten pregnant. But the encounter took an unexpected turn. Wooyoung was instead greeted by Yeosang's shocking announcement that he was getting married.
