Sonic's P.O.V
I was gloating against Shadow after winning yet another race. "Hehe... seems you were too slow, Shadz!~" I laughed at him. He rolled his eyes and scoffed, "Whatever, Faker..." I saw him suddenly raise his guard.
It was slight, but noticeable.
He looked around and I got confused. "Uh... Shadz..?" He glanced at me, "Do you hear that?" I shook my head. "...It kind of sounds like-" He got cut off as he got attacked and brought to the ground.
Him and the... brown looking blur... skidded to a stop, 5 meters to my left. If I were in Shadz's place, I'd've taken the blow. After they stopped moving, the brown wolf stood up, brushing herself off.
Ugh, not her...
I knew her. She was called 'Gow', and she was worse than Shadow! And least he can be fun... it's like she exists to annoy me.
Shadow stood up and growled at her. "The fuck's wrong with you, kid?" She glared back, "I tripped, alright? There, I said it." He scoffed, "Must be hard for Ms. Perfect to admit that-"
I held back an insult by speaking, "Hey! Shadow, Gow- can we chill out..? For just a second?" They both shifted their glares to me. I guess not...
I don't blame Shadow for hating her. Ever since we met, 2 years ago, she's caused nothing but problems. She has the evilness of Eggy (sometimes, I guess), the edginess of Shadow, and the evilness of Surge the tenric.
Before Surge became my... 'ally', I mean. Well- sorta. She stopped attacking me, so that's a plus.
She just sucked. Oh, might I add, she is as arrogant as Scourge. She never liked me for some reason (even though I'm awesome), and she only ever smiles to mock us. And if she ever laughs, it's never genuine, and you can tell. I swear she does that on purpose.
While I zoned out, the two started arguing again. "Why couldn't you have been more careful?!" She rolled her eyes at Shadow. "I didn't do it on purpose. The last thing I want is to bump into either of you!"
They continued arguing for a while. I got annoyed and whistled loudly to get their attention. My attempt was successful and they went quiet. "THANK you... Gow, get outta here. Shadz, let's go." The wolf rolled her eyes, and Shadow actually AGREED with me! He scoffed, "Whatever, Faker. Fine. I'll go anywhere that she ISN'T." He followed me as I started to walk away.
I looked back at Gow, surprised to see the face she was making behind out backs. She... copied one of MY faces..? Pulling her bottom left eyelid down, closing the other eye completely, and sticking her tongue out to taunt us.
She was a weird kid. She hates me, yet copies me? So confusing...
Gow's P.O.V
Ugh, stupid hedgehog... I instantly turned away after he caught me making that face at him. Ok, so I copied him... so what?! I know... he... wouldn't have minded it. But of course, this wasn't him. It would never BE him. It just wasn't possible.
I hmphed and turned my back, speeding off. I remember when I ran by his side... it felt like nothing could change how I felt in that moment. But now, I can't. I can't run by HIS side... and even if I could, it wouldn't be HIM.
It's not the same thing. He's not the same person. He's not the same...
Shadow's P.O.V
I followed Faker. I don't even know why. I just wanted to get away from HER. "...who does she think she is?" I looked over at Faker. It wasn't like him to talk about someone behind their backs. But I shrugged to his question. "I mean- she's more stubborn than you, Shadz. No offence."
I rolled my eyes, "None taken, Faker. I know what you mean." He sighed, "She's impossible! There's nothing about her even REMOTELY pleasant to be around!"
That, I can agree with.
Something I've noticed recently, is that we only seem to 'get along' whenever we're criticizing her. Not that I mind. She deserves it. She can be more reckless than faker.
Sonic kept blabbing on and on about her, "For someone that's Silver's age, she's very irresponsible." I scoffed, "Like you?" He shot a glare at me.
I would hate being compared to her too.
Sonic's P.O.V
I was ranting about Gow non-stop. She was just. So. Annoying. I mean, literally- how is someone more annoying than me?! Shadz literally confirmed it! She's always a jerk for no reason!
My rant was cut off by a rain drop. Then another. And another. Then rain. I groaned, "Rain?! Seriously?!" I whined.
Shadow rolled his eyes, "Faker, it's just water." I pouted, "But I hate water!!" He narrowed his eyes at me and sighed. He grabbed me and chaos controlled me home.
I stared at him wide eyed after jerking my arm away from him. "You're welcome, Faker." And he chaos controlled away. I knew he wasn't that edgy.
3rd Person P.O.V
The brown wolf laid on her bed in the small hut she'd built herself. She was being drowned in memories, pain, suffering, grief...
The care she once had for her friends starting to come back to stab her in the chest, the things she said and did coming to her as if they were yesterday, the day that she killed the one she loved, every single detail...
She laid their sulking into her wet pillow, her blue eyes glowing in the darkness of the room. The rain outside hitting the window harder with each passing minute...

Sonic kept looking out the window, waiting for the rain to stop so he could go on a run... but nothing. It kept falling harder. He groaned at the sight.
"Stupid rain... nothing's going right today."
He thought about his race with Shadow, "Well... I guess not everything's going bad... I still won." He smugly mused himself, chuckling a bit. "...But my victory was short-lived." His smile faded as he sighed, looking at the photo he took of her without her permission.
He remembered that day. She was chasing him and trying to get him to delete it, which he never did. He can't remember why he printed it out, though. Maybe to remind himself how fun it is to annoy her? Yeah, that works. "...What's her problem?" He spoke to himself, looking at the photo.
Even Shadow had somewhat gotten used to him at this point. Gow just refused to do so! If only he knew why...
He sighed, "I wish I knew why she hated me... then we wouldn't be arguing all the time."
