Crispin regained his composure as he entered the warehouse. "Luxes," he said to the twins, "I presume everything is ready?" The twins nodded with an evil laugh. You felt Crispin's grip on your hand loosen, fingers lazily holding yours as he focused on the room around him.

Two babies stormed in, both in suits. "Crispin Biscuits." The blonde baby drawled angrily.

His companion with the pigtails shot you a look. "I didn't know you could make friends." You frowned, you didn't want to ruin these babies lives. But you couldn't let Crispin hurt himself, either.

You took a few steps back as Crispin began revealing his plan. The heaviness on your shoulders only heightened as the two babies took the deal. When the game started you had already ducked between hay bales, certain no one had spotted you.

You wouldn't actively hurt them, but you'd be there for Crispin if he was in danger. You grabbed the top of a hay bale and slowly pulled yourself up. Crispin looked back at you from the other side.

"Here play friend," he stepped around the structure, holding out a water balloon. "Can't leave you unarmed."

You squeezed the balloon lightly and shivered. The power it held was enough to make you sick. Before you could plead with him, Crispin had already disappeared. It was gonna be harder to keep an eye on him than you thought.

You kept one hand against the hay as you began to navigate the maze. A 'sploosh' came from nearby but you ignored it, hoping to not draw attention.

A head popped up from a nearby corner, but it was only one of the twins. Regardless, you took a sharp right turn.

The air was heated, evaporated formula splattered on the ground. Time was ticking by and you couldn't find any other babies. You began to walk faster, still cradling your balloon.

Chatter caught your attention. It grew louder and you broke into a jog. You slipped on a corner, dropping the balloon that landed slowly against a wall, popping and emptying onto the ground. Every face turned to look at you, even the one hanging upside down. Tina, you presumed. She almost looked as if she were begging you for help, but you couldn't get your body to move.

You watched as a balloon broke against her face, drenching her in the rotten formula. "Why am I covered in regular formula?" She asked aloud and you gasped.

You swiveled, looking between the Luxes and Boss Baby. Something stirred in the air. A moment later they were climbing for higher ground and you were running to Crispin, who was shock-still.

You tugged his arm. "Something's wrong!"

He turned to look at you before gaping at the ceiling. "I know, y/n." Warm formula pattered against your face, dripping down your cheek. Crispin grabbed your hand, his own slick with formula, and you felt it grow in yours.

You tried to speak, then everything went black.
