Jess and I walk out of the school, and I tell Jess we have to get out of this area. Then I see the dark figure.... the dark figure that haunts my dreams. Jess looks at it and tells me to run and not look back; I do it in an instant, forgetting what will happen to him. I turn around as I remember, but he's gone already. I have to keep running! That's all I think about. As I run, I hear a person behind me, screaming THE SHINING HOUSE. I run even faster until I hear the voice fade out, and it's just me and the dark abiss. The moment comes when my legs fail me.. I'm on the ground , just laying there so helpless. It approaches me slowly as to show off that it won.
"I'm ready," I say to myself, "I'm ready...
As I was swallowed by the dark abiss, I saw a light far away. I stood up and walked towards it, as in walked, I mean I ran. As I got closer, I saw the house... The Shining House! I went slowly up the stairs, opened the door, and suddenly felt PEACE. Am I dead?
Out of nowhere, I hear familiar voices; then I see my mom. She comes running to me and hugs me, saying
You're finally home!
