As Nehaal rushed into the hospital, his heart pounding with fear and determination, his driver followed behind, bewildered by his employer's sudden urgency.
"Nehaal sir, who is this girl? Why are you so worried about her?" the driver ventured cautiously, his voice tinged with concern.
Ignoring the driver's questions, Nehaal continued to cradle Nandani in his arms, his voice a fervent plea as he whispered, "Nandani, wake up. I won't let anything happen to you."
Arriving at the emergency room, Nehaal spotted a doctor and rushed towards him, desperation etched on his features. "Doctor, please, it's an emergency! You have to save her," he implored, his voice trembling with emotion.
The doctor, taken aback by Nehaal's urgency, quickly assessed the situation and instructed the ward boy to bring a stretcher. "We need to get her into the emergency room immediately. She's lost a lot of blood," the doctor explained calmly, his tone reassuring.
As Nehaal reluctantly relinquished Nandani to the care of the medical staff, he felt a pang of helplessness wash over him. "Please, save her," he pleaded one last time before being ushered out of the room.
In the hallway, a nurse approached Nehaal, her expression sympathetic. "Sir, can you fill out some formalities? Are you her family?" she inquired gently.
For a moment, Nehaal hesitated, his mind racing with conflicting thoughts. "No, I'm actually her friend. We know each other," he replied softly, his voice tinged with sadness.
Completing the necessary paperwork, Nehaal's thoughts drifted to the meeting he had abandoned. When his driver cautiously broached the subject, Nehaal's frustration boiled over.
"To hell with the meeting!" he exclaimed, his voice echoing through the hospital corridor. Regaining his composure, he added more politely, "Please inform them that there's been a personal emergency. It can't be helped."
As his driver relayed the message to Nehaal's secretary, Nehaal found himself drawn to a nearby window, his gaze fixed on Nandani's form disappearing behind the doors of the emergency room. A stranger passing got phone rang with ringtone portraying Nehaal's feeling.... "Kitne Tere Karib Tha
Main To Tera Naseeb Tha
Hoton Pe Rahta Tha
Har Waqt Bas Naam Tera
Han Mujhe Yaad Hai...."
As he stood there, a prayer escaped his lips, directed towards the statue of Lord Ganesha nearby. "Please, save my Nandani bappa. Don't let her suffer any longer," he whispered, his voice filled with anguish and hope.
Unbeknownst to Nehaal, the hospital staff observed his plight, silently marveling at the depth of his concern for the mysterious girl lying in their care.
