Chapter 8- Acceptance?

Sam POV
I tried finding Drake cause I don't really know how I can get to the hospital without a transportation and since I don't know where is my bike right now. I almost looked everywhere around the Pack house and he is nowhere so I went out. I finally found him by a huge looking storage house but as I enter, I realize it's a huge garage house and I saw him with 4 other guys. So I wake slowly towards them while they are busy looking at something...

"Hey Drake!" I said as I tried to look at what they are doing and the all got frightened. "Sam! Since when were you there?" He asked and I just gave shrugged at him. "Who is the good looking chick,men?" Asked one of his friends. A player, I can describe him as. " A no One..." I said and then ignored him.

" Drake have you seen a black Matted Icon Sheene around here?" I asked but player answered instead. " Yeah it's right there, want me to give you a ride?" He pointed and I saw my baby. " No thank you, I got a ride of my own." I said as I walk to my bike.

"Wait Sam, I think the owner will be angry if you touch th-" *VROOOM!* Drake was interrupted as I start the engine and the 4 faces were so funny but I kept my face neutral. " What were you saying Drake? I didn't heard you?" I said as I stopped in front of them.

"Oh you are Luke and Joe right?" And they nodded "How come you know them but not me?" player whine and he is starting to get on my nerves. " Cause they stopped me from entering my uncles pack...right guys?" I looked at the 2 with a scary smile. And I saw both of them sweating.

" Drake, I'll be back before training starts and if that asks tell him I'm visiting uncle, okay?" I said. " Are you going to join in the training?" Asked Joe or Luke? I don't really know which is which. " Not really, I was just invited by Lance this morning... Wait, which is Joe and which is Luke?" I asked

"I'm Joe!" He said, he got really brown eyes and tanner while Luke's eyes are blue. "I'm Ian by the way..." Oh so the flirt has a name, I thought. I just wore my helmet and speed away.

About 2 hours later,I finally arrived at the city. I stopped first by a flower boutique to by some flowers then went straight to the hospital. I parked my bike and went in the hospital, I climbed the stairs since I am not really familiar with the hospital. I realized that Uncle M's room has a high security measures. There are 3 CCTV cameras outside the corridors facing his door and when I knocked , 2 guards were standing inside the door. "Hi, I am Sam." And they gestured for me to come in.

It been so long since I saw Uncle M, he aged now and look a bit pale and fragile but peacefully sleeping. I was going to ask where was Aunt Marisa to the guards but they seems to transfer outside the door, well I am just going to wait.

I sat by a chair beside his bed, I watch him sleep and I start talking to him even though I won't get any reply.
"How are you, Uncle M? It been so long since we met, 3years or 4? Maybe more than that since you've aged this much... I am really curious about your will. Why do I have to have a Mate or marry a guy just to prove that I could lead this pack. What if I don't find him at the right time? What if he isn't here in this place or country? I can't leave my family with this problem just because I need to find this mate of mine, if you were to respond me that I should travel!"
I took a deep breath and stood up by the window, continuing " You know I want to hate you for what you've done to my family. You destroyed our peaceful life and made us face the life that dad once left and you wanted, but why are you giving it back?... Do you know I shifted when I was 16, it hurts as fuck back then. But can't speak to her ( my wolf)anymore since I forced to stop shifting a year ago but I know she is there . I wanted to live as a normal person as a human. Go to university, travel with my friends, experience falling in love naturally and have my heartbroken. I know isn't it better having a Mate than experiencing heartbreaks. No it isn't Uncle, human are actually stronger than us, they been hurt so many times, they failed in so many circumstances but they still stand up and continue living on, they are very interesting and unpredictable creatures, Uncle. Not like our race, we find our Mates, leave the life we have for them and make a family and when one of you die... The other can't live anymore and soon die as well."

I looked at him still sleeping, " I hope you will get well soon , I will come again when your awake. Sorry but I can't promise you that I can fulfill your will so don't die yet, okay? I got to go, I still want to see your pack how strong they are and no offense Uncle but we have should have a talk about your security system and other stuff when you wake up, bye"
When I walked out the guards bowed, " tell Aunt Marisa that I visited and tell her sorry I couldn't stay so long" they nodded and Bow "Yes Miss, take Care" Ah formality shits-.-
I returned home and parked my bike inside the storage house. I looked at my watch, I still have time to change. I passed first by Dad's office and saw him working again.
"Knock! Knock!, had a nice sleep?" He looked by the door and smiled " I did, were you the one who arranged this?"
"Yeah, have you eaten?" I asked him. "Just finished, where were you?" "Visited uncle, I need to change and look at the training... later dad"

I went to my room and closed it back,the door is now a normal coloured wood and I entered again. It's so beautiful everything changed, the walls are white and black and look at the lights!!! Wow, whoever did this is the best people bless their wolves.

Though I've only been out for a while, they sure exerted effort but who had this Idea? Anyways, i need to change.

After changing, I went downstairs and saw Sally "Hello dear how was the visit?" I smiled "he was resting so I really couldn't talk to him, by the way... my room, who?" "Oh its actually  Lance who asked your dad if you were a fan of pink and he said your not fan of colors so they decided to change it, do you like it?" I hugged her " loved it thank you" she patted my back "anytime dear" " Im gonna join the training, later sally" "Dont forget eat dinner, Sam" I just made a wave then went downstairs, outside and saw Lance looking at the group of teens running and another stretching guided by Drake. " Guess I'm not late" Lance startled. "Can you greet like a normal being"I looked at him for a second then look at the group running " we are werewolves, nothing about us is normal and not my fault you have poor senses.. " I recieved a glare. "So tell me what's going on?" He returned to normal. "Well this group is divided in 2, the first group, the youngsters are the onces who shifted no longer than 3/4yrs so the average age is 18 while the other are the older ones more experienced but no older than 25. Cause those older than 25 are either already working or married with a family or both."

I just nodded "the running are the older so A and the stretching B are the younger" he looked at me "in short words yes."" How many minutes are they running and how long do they run on normal circumstances?" He gave me a questioning look but still replied "they run in human form for an hour no longer and another hour in wolf form, while the younger once run for 2 hours in wolf for to get used to it." I just nodded. "Then why are you here and not with them?" "We assign a leader every week for them to develop leadership" " I only smell laziness" He sent me another glare and I just laughed it out.

"Lance stop flirting with the new girl!" I heard the group of guys shouting, the ones I saw this morning (excluding Drake) "That's the your queue to join them" I pushed him "you should join" he said I know he wants me to get to know the others but I just came to see them train and just exercise abit myself. "Nah" I rejected "your room..." oh so he is using this card " fine thanks for the redecoration, btw" I walked with him to group B. I saw some familiar faces, the two Flirt Ian and Grey, Luke and Joe then there is Drake, and other teenagers my age or older. I feel welcome with a few glares from some girls and hungry looks from other guys. Especially when "Ian and Grey came to me and said Hey at the same time. I feel lazers, thanks guys. (¬‿¬)
