Chapter 6- First Day

Hi! Lets get to the story...

Sam P.O.V

4:45 Am~
Isnt this great, I slept too early last night so now I am wide awake while the whole place is still sleeping... its still dark outside. I should go for a run, exercise right!

I changed into my jogging attire and tied my hair in a high ponytail. Grab my phone and earphones... I walked out of the room to the stairs as quiet as I can,so no one would wake up.I went down until I arrived by the kitchen and grabbed an apple by the counter. The cold wind breeze welcomed me as I went outside, it feels so much different living in the forest.

I plugged the earphones as I do some stretchings then went jogging. Since I dont really know this place, I explored the territory for a while. The houses have different designs but most have only a floor or 2, which makes the pack house the tallest by 3 floors but I think its 4 cause I feel there is a basement below.

I think I went abit far cause later on, no more houses are in sight but I hear the sound of a flowing water nearby so I went to look for it. A stream, a very peaceful place to be and the flow of water is quite strong so I got curious were its heading... I followed the direction of water. I was too lost in my thought following the flow that I didnt realize I almost went out of the bounderies of the territory. But I can already see the end of the stream... A cliff so its a waterfall. I would like to see it but I'm sure others would feel me going out of the bounderies. I looked at my phone and its 5:30 Am so I went back to the pack house. I saw that others are already awake. I was almost near the house when I heared someone calling me, I saw Lance coming toward me. I smiled and greeted him good morning.

" I didn't find you as a  early person" he said, " Still getting used to the surrounding, I guess" I think I could get along with Lance, he has a brotherly vibes to me. "What time did you woke up then?" He asked "Around 4:45" I answered. " So you've been out here for almost an hour? " I nodded "So did you find anything intresting?" He asked in a amusing tone. "Yeah, I found a stream" I said " You arrived that far. Its like in the end of the boundery, good thing you didnt went too far, cause there are rumors going that some rogues are at loose" he said.

I almost did... I thought. "Aren't you suppose to be getting ready for school by this time?" He looked at his watch, " I don't go to school anymore, I graduated last year..." I said awkwardly. "Really!?  So what do you do now a days?" He asked. "I actually don't know, I honestly wanted to travel to another country but..."   "Alpha's final wish stopped you?" He interrupted. I laughed bitterly " More like distroyed it"  I whispered. "Don't think like that you'll be a amazing Luna of this pack and you'll rule it with your loving  mate" he tried to reason out. I looked at him and smiled weakly "That's the thing that will destroy my freedom, That title. Which on the first place I actually didn't want..."  I think I said too much, I should change the topic. 

" Do you have a pack training today?" I asked. "Yeah 2  actually. One for the kids from age 6-15 which will happen later at 7  AM and  another  in the  evening by 6  for the teenagers from 16 to the early 20s, why do you ask?"  He asked with a questioning look

"I would  like to see how you train them" I said then I started walking back to the pack house but I remembered something "Is Luke gonna be there?" I asked again facing him...well I dont remember the other guy's name , and he nodded still with a confused look and I smiled " Well then we'll see each other again, if you'll excuse me then"  I jogged to the pack house and as I enter the house, the kitchen was really crowded by teenagers, they seems to be having breakfast. A old woman who looks like around 50s noticed me and smiled "You look new around here, are you perhaps Ms.--"  I interrupted her "I'm Sam"  Nodding at her with a smile "Its nice to meet you, Sam. Call me Sally. I am the one in charge of feeding the wolves at this place, what would you like to eat? I'll cook it for you" I rejected her offer kindly but she insisted " That won't do my child, going to school with an empty stomach is a very bad habit" she said.

Well isnt this the second time since this morning...

"I graduated last year and its alright I ate an apple awhile ago" smiling at her shocking face " Oh I'm sorry you look so young. I thought you were still studying . A beautiful  and smart lady, the title fits you perfectly"  She squeezed my shoulder.

People in this place are very welcoming and kind, "Um thanks but I'm just 17 , I love talking to you but I still have some things to do so.." i said " Oh yes but first here... go ahead, darling" she gave me a banana muffin and went back to the kitchen. As I walked away I heard a little girl voice asking Sally " Aunt Sally,who is she ?" And I smiled to what Sally answered

"Her name is Sam, a very special person in this pack"

I went up to the stairs but a guy running down almost bump up to me but reflex kick in and I stepped aside leaning by the handle of the stairs but the guy almost slipped down if I wasn't  able to grab his collar on time. He did choke a bit but still falling in the stairs would hurt more.  When he got back to his balance I let go of his collar and said sorry "its alright, it was my fault anyway... running down the stairsis dangerous . Can I ask for the name of my savior?" He is a certified player, I assure just from the smirk he is showing. " Sam" I said not really interested. I admit he looks good but I'm not really into players. " Such a beautiful name for a beautiful lady. I am Grayson but others call me Grey"  Well his name sounds colorful I guess, a 100% player.

"GREY! If you dont come down this second. I swear I'll be leaving you behind  and you'll be walking your way to school."  Well that guy voice sounds familiar " That would be my best bud , Drake. I think you should be hurrying, class starts at 7:30 . I'll be going first, see you" he was about to walked down the stairs but his stomach made a sound. I laughed quietly and looked at him, his ears looked red from behind. "Greyson"  I called out and he looked at me, I toss the muffin to him. " Going to school with an empty stomach is a very bad habit, good  luck with school" I copied what Sally said. He was about to speak but Drake came and he was about to drag Grey but he saw me and he bowed abit his head " Good morning, M--" I gave him a death glare "S- Sam" he shuttered. I smiled a bit " Good Morning  Drake" . " You know her?" Grey asked looking at Drake but Drake was still looking at me. I pointed at my watch and he got the signal as he drag the complaining Grey. " Have fun in school" I said with a amusing look, so childish. Drake gave me a smile but Grey started asking more questions.

I arrived at my room and sat on my bed. I need to redecorate this place...
