YUJIN slowly opened his pretty blue orbs, meeting the sight of the familiar bedroom ceiling, and the eerie silence that surrounded the whole house. He knew that she's not home, once again, and without informing him about it. It made him feel so lonely, and desperate that he's once again left alone in the house, all by himself and he cannot do one shit about it since he was so head over heels for the beautiful woman.
He turned, hugging the pillows and closing his eyes, it felt so calming but the eeriness said otherwise. All he could hear was the soft, muffled sound of water dripping slowly from the tap in the bathroom, and he couldn't even go back to sleep. He wonders what she does outside, all the people she'd been meeting and it did nothing but make him feel even more jealous.
Milo, the red haired dude, Norman, the handsome classy man, the brunette that goes by the name Lucia, and the other grumpy dude counting money. All the people that seemed way too close to her was making him feel so sick in the stomach and jealous as heck, resulting in a small grunt coming out of his mouth.
He pushes his body up, feeling the numb sensation and the slight throb in his feet, however, he got off the bed. Feeling the cold floor against his feet, he took steps and headed out the bedroom, into the kitchen.
It's 4 pm, and Kiri will be back around eight, so he'll have to manage until then. He can't go out, watch TV because there's nothing in it for him to watch, can't even take a walk in the small rose garden and neither can he order stuff for himself. It may feel so isolated for anyone in his shoes, hell, it's crazy to love a woman this much.
And it hurts like crazy to know that your love isn't returned.
He fills a glass of water, leaning against the kitchen counter. Even the water feels so heavenly knowing it's from the house where his love lives. He stares at the clock, the sound of its ticking making him feel nauseous. He fiddles with the glass, almost bored since there's only a few stuff to do so, and that is, cleaning, cooking and cleaning again.
Cleaning, cooking and cleaning.
Sounds like a shitty routine. But it's all for her, and he should think this way. It's all for her, his love. Love. Something he knows she could never experience. Although, he'd just keep trying until she realizes how much she means to him. She saved his life without even trying.
His ears met a sound coming from outside the door, a car horn. Without wasting any seconds, he immediately walked, no, ran to the door and held the door knob tight with his hands, peeking through the small glass hole. It's locked, she remembered to lock it before going out. He sighs, not wanting to be seen by anyone that was approaching the door after walking out of the van.
That is no other than Milo. His face scrunched with confusion and a bit of worry, as he saw the man casually make his way to her house like she and him are so good friends that he has the audacity to approach her house. He watches the man smoking before ringing the bell, knowing damn well that it's locked
"Hey, puppy boy, I know you're in there...." His familiar voice catching his ears off guard, he still doesn't reply, listening to his voice.
"I just needed some stuff, y'know. Kiri sent me, so can you get it, hm..?" He smokes, blowing the smoke into the glass hole purposefully, blocking the scared man's view.
"Yujin...? That's your name right?" He huffs out, knocking a few times against the door.
"H-How do I know she sent you...?" He speaks up, his voice low but enough for him to hear. The red haired man scoffed, flicking his cigarette away and knocking again.
"Look, I don't have all day, okay? So do what I'm telling you and stop asking damn questions." He spoke in a firm, annoyed tone, making him flinch at the sudden sound.
"No..." He mumbles, not wanting to talk to the man that stood outside the door. "Yujin, I'm not gonna repeat it one more time. Do what I say or I'm gonna shoot the damn door."
And that was it. He could feel his blood running cold at the mention of the man's upcoming violent action, but gathers all the courage and speaks up, "No... "
"I-I'm... I'm gonna need her on the phone for that." He speaks in a scared tone, which results in an exaggerated groan coming from the male outside the house.
"Do you want me to waste a bullet?" He raises his voice, and it only confirms his suspicions of the red haired man lying. Yujin is no stranger to lies. He's trembling with fear of what may come if he didn't do what he says, his mind wondering what the man wanted.
"Okay, I'm gonna waste a bullet." And Yujin feels goosebumps for a second before the sound of the phone ringing catches his ears. He ran and picked up the phone, his breath labored as he waits for the person on the other line to speak up.
"Don't fall for anything that idiot says, the door's not gonna break with just a bullet, you live with a mercenary."
And she hangs up. Kiri. How does she know? But that's not the main concern.
"Three..." And the idiot man in question starts counting.
"Two..."
Yujin feels at ease since the love of his life confirms to not trust the redhead. "One." And there's no gunshot, just the man cursing since his trap didn't work out, resulting an annoyed groan from the man and the words,
"FUCK you, Kiri!"
