Today, I noticed Valentina acting weird after she was touched by that modified ectoplasm. And on top of that, the ectoplasm looked different from the others, it had an ominous aura.
Though that was not the problem at hand right now. The problem was the decapitated head we found in the abandoned apartment. It had some runes written on it with a black ink
The person who broke the speechless silence was Hannah. She shrieked loudly at the sight and went behind me and Valentina. I had a disgusted look on my face after seeing the head. Valentina was just staring blankly at it
"Can you shut the fuck up, Hannah?"
I said, feeling annoyed because of Hannah's whining about why we shouldn't have broke into this apartment.
"I'm gonna puke if I see that thing one more ti-"
Hannah yelled but she got cut off by her own violent gag. She ran off to find the bathroom which left me with Valentina. She was being ominously quiet right now. I noticed that she was staring directly at the blood
She had a fucked up glint in her eyes which made chills run down my spine.

I then noticed that someone was trying to do some sort of ritual on the floor. I flashed the light of my phone on it until it's battery ran out.
"Fuck!"
I muttered to myself. Something was fishy in this room because it looked like some sorta ritual had gone wrong
I thought of informing Valentina
Valentina?? Valentina!
I called her name. This was the second time she had got lost in her thoughts. I seriously felt concerned now and shook her by the shoulders again.
She seemed to have snapped out from whatever was happening in her mind
"Ah I'm sorry I don't what's happening to me today-"
"Something is terribly wrong."
I had cut her sentence off with a concerned frown on my face. She started profusely sweating for some reason
