The shrill cry of the alarm filled the crimson-colored room, echoing off the chocolate-brown walls, but the girl lying in bed remained unfazed.

With puffed cheeks and eyes stubbornly closed, she turned over, ignoring the persistent beeping that had now been going on for a good five minutes.

She showed no signs of waking, her body perfectly still beneath the cozy warmth of her blankets.

But the tranquility was short-lived.

The room's door swung open with purpose, revealing a young woman in her mid-twenties.

She approached the bouncy bed, her gaze fixed on the sleeping figure with a look of exasperation.

With a heavy sigh, she moved swiftly, yanking the blankets away in one harsh motion.

The sleepy girl, let out a whine as the cold air hit her, her doe eyes fluttering open.

She glanced up to see her older sister standing over her, holding the blanket and glaring down at her.

"eonni~" she whined, her voice thick with sleep.

But her sister's stern expression didn't soften.

"Do you know what time it is, Lisa?!"

Lisa blinked, then turned her head to look at the clock. Her eyes widened in horror as she realized just how late she was.

"Don't you want to meet our new siblings?" her sister added pointedly.

The memory of yesterday's events came rushing back to Lisa, and she shot up, panic replacing sleepiness in an instant.

Today was their first day at the new school, where they'd finally meet their new stepsiblings.

"Holy f-f-fook, s-sorry eonni! I'll go and get ready. Bye, Pikachu~"

Giggling, Lisa dashed off, leaving her sister shaking her head at her childish antics.

A soft smile played on her lips as she watched Lisa's retreating figure before heading off to wake the other younger siblings.

Lisa hurried through her morning routine, freshening up and slipping into her school uniform.

She took a moment to do her makeup, leaving her hair loose and perfectly combed, her bangs framing her face just right.

Satisfied with her reflection, she skipped down the stairs, her heart lighter than usual.

In the dining room, she found everyone except one usual latecomer already seated.

Lisa giggled softly as she greeted her family, placing a quick kiss on her father's cheek and high-fiving her brother and sister.

Soon, the final sibling made his appearance, only to be met with a mix of glares, smiles, and barely-contained snickers from the younger ones, who were all too familiar with his habit of being late.

"Ah, finally the king is here, right? My Majesty, would you like something special?"

One of their brothers, Jin, quipped with a tone dripping in sarcasm, a smirk on his lips.

The latecomer, Jimin, offered a nervous smile, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Ji-Jin Hyung..."

But Jin was having none of it.

With an annoyed sigh, he snapped, "Go take your seat, brat!"

Jimin quickly found his spot across from Lisa, sighing in relief when he realized Jin had dropped the subject.

Lisa exchanged a giggle with her brother Jungkook, leaning over to whisper.

"Jimin Oppa got scolded again," she said with a stifled laugh.

Jungkook chuckled too, whispering back, "It was a fun scolding, though."

"I can hear you both!" Jimin muttered, shooting them a playful glare that made them straighten up and quiet down.

As they ate, the conversation naturally turned to the day ahead.

"So... are you all excited for the new school?" their father asked with a warm smile.

Rosé, the oldest of the maknaes, answered with enthusiasm.

"Ne, Appa!"

"I'm excited for school only because I get to meet our new family members," Lisa chimed in, her cute smile returning as she stuffed more food into her mouth.

"Yes, Appa, otherwise how would the maknaes ever be willing to go to school?" Namjoon teased, earning pouts from the younger ones.

Breakfast continued in the same lighthearted manner, filled with teasing and laughter.

Afterward, they all piled into their limo, ready for the day ahead.

Though they usually drove separately, today was special- today, they were starting a new chapter together.

The ride to their new school took about ten minutes.

When they arrived, they stepped out, taking in the sight of the campus.

The maknaes, in particular, marveled at the beauty of the place, while their older siblings maintained a more composed demeanor.

At a certain point, Jisso, the eldest, stopped and turned to the younger ones. "You all go to the principal's office while others head to the university," she instructed.

The maknaes nodded in agreement, and the group split off in different directions.

Whereas the oldest, Jisso and Seokjin, went to their limo as they destinated to their work office.

The younger ones reached the principal's office first, collecting their locker keys and other essentials before heading to their classes.

On the way, they noticed a large crowd gathered in one area, and their curiosity got the better of them.

They moved closer, eager to see what had everyone so captivated.

What they found left them all surprisingly speechless.
