The hallway was alive with tension, all eyes fixed on two figures— a lone figure on the ground, bruised and struggling, while the other, standing tall, exuded an eerie beauty.

A girl with hair as white as fresh snow leaned over, her delicate strands casting a shadow over her face.

At 5’10, she towered above with a presence that was as commanding as it was chilling.

She straightened, cracking her neck, her smirk wicked yet oddly entrancing.

She drove her foot one last time into the fallen figure, a laugh escaping her lips— sweet and smooth, yet laced with cruelty.

With a grin, she turned to her partner, who met her in a high-five.

His light brown hair swept just above his eyes, lending an almost ethereal quality to his gaze.

There was an intensity to his smirk, something eternal in the way he looked on.

A girl with short black hair from the front tossed a volleyball in her direction, and she caught it effortlessly, as if it were second nature.

She raised her foot again, intending to strike the fallen figure once more, but a sharp voice sliced through the air, freezing her in place.

Her fists clenched as she registered the name called from behind her.

"Elysia…"

A ripple of shock spread through the siblings around her, their breath catching as the name fell like a chill over the scene.

The hallway lights glistened off the shoulder-length snow-white hair of a girl standing close by, her cold aura tangible.

Jimin, who stood beside her, felt a sudden drop in temperature, his skin prickling with the icy tension.

Elysia.

The girl with crystal blue eyes turned, her gaze hardening as she took in the sight of her sister.

Her eyes narrowed, cutting through the space with an unmistakable disdain as the crowd parted to give them space.

Her bangs fell forward, momentarily shielding her expression until she brushed them aside with a flick of her hand, a loud scoff escaping her lips in response to the sight before her.

Elysia tilted her head, her expression twisted with distaste as she lashed out with a swift back-kick, hitting the downed figure with a force that elicited a groan.

The burning intensity in her gaze of the new girl seemed to pierce the figure of the Elysia before her, her eyes boring into her with an unreadable emotion.

Drawing in a sharp breath, Elysia scoffed again, her voice dripping with disdain.

She moved forward, brushing past the group as though they didn’t exist, her voice cold and biting as she muttered under her breath.

"Freaking demon."

Her words seemed to echo in the hallway as her blue eyes lingered for a moment, then she turned on her heel and walked away, her back to the crowd as she disappeared into the distance.

Jimin, who’d caught the venom in her voice, blinked in surprise, left processing the brief yet charged encounter.

Slowly, the gathered crowd began to disperse, leaving only the siblings and a handful of students in the now-muted hallway.

One girl with (e/c) eyes watched Elysia's figure as she retreated down the hallway, before she, too, walked off with a friend by her side.

The remaining group, stunned and intrigued, stood in silence until one student nearby let out a sigh, catching the attention of the Kim siblings.

"You guys are new here, right?" he asked, his eyes scanning each of their faces.

They exchanged glances, then nodded.

The boy continued, a knowing look in his eyes.

"The girl with the short snow-white hair is Y/n, Park Y/n. And the taller one, with the longer hair... that’s Park Elysia. They’re sisters, as you probably figured out already."

The Kims listened closely, nodding along, curiosity etched on their faces.

"Even though they’re sisters, it’s no secret that they hate each other. Elysia has her reasons— she’s no bully, despite what it might look like," the boy explained, a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks as he spoke of Elysia.

"There’s even a rumor that she despises Y/n so much that she’s taken to calling her a ‘demon.’"

He paused, his gaze drifting to where Elysia had vanished down the corridor.

"Why are you telling us this?" Taehyung questioned, raising a brow.

The boy offered a small, mysterious smile in reply.

"Because you’re new. And you don’t want to get on Elysia’s bad side. Trust me— she’s got a temper and a knack for making her feelings clear. She hates almost everything."

Lisa, intrigued, leaned in slightly. "How do you know all of this?"

The boy’s expression softened as he answered, "Because I’m a Nova."

The siblings exchanged puzzled glances, momentarily taken aback.

The boy chuckled, realizing their confusion, and elaborated.

"‘Nova’ is the name we use for fans of Elysia’s group. They go by ‘Eclipse.’"

"A fandom name? What, are they a K-pop group?" Jungkook laughed, only to be met with a light slap from Lisa on his shoulder.

The boy shook his head, smiling.

"They might not be idols, but they’re as close as it gets. Over half the school and even the university adore them. Eclipse isn’t just a group— it’s practically a phenomenon. And each of them is like a celebrity in their own right. They’ve got visuals, they’re skilled in dance, vocals, rap... They’re the pride of this institute."

The Kims absorbed the information, their expressions a mix of fascination and skepticism.

As the boy finished speaking, the school bell rang, snapping them out of their reverie.

He shot them a final, friendly smile.

"Just a word of advice; keep your distance. Elysia’s reputation isn’t just for show."

With that, he turned and made his way to his class, leaving the siblings behind, exchanging thoughtful looks.

Wordlessly, they filed into the flow of students heading to class, each mulling over the mysterious encounter with the infamous sisters and their world of secrets, rivalries, and unspoken histories.

As they walked, their curiosity grew, about the Park sisters.

About their soon-to-be step-sisters.
