Storage unit fire.

Andy's POV.

"Jack ! I think something's wrong, I have to get out of here ! " I screamed trying to hold onto Jack as the pain in my chest grew tighter.

"A-Andy what's wrong ?! Andy ! No Andy stay with me !" I heard Jacks panic in his voice. I couldn't continue much more. I felt like I was going to pass out from the pain. I needed Jack to carry me.

"Herrera ! Gibson ! Get up ! " I heard Sullivan say as I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and looked around me. The smoke had cleared and Jack was laying right next to me. I think I understood what this meant, we had passed out from the smoke. I couldn't get up, the pain in my chest was exponentially worse.

I soon felt Robert picking me up and carrying me through a maze. He went left then right and left again, followed by another left and then a right and finally we were out. He set me down and I took off my helmet taking some deep breaths of the semi-fresh air.

I looked around trying to gather all the information I could. There were people everywhere, trucks and equipment were coving half the lot. I looked to the right and saw the ladder leading up to the roof. That surprised me seeming as how we tried it earlier and the roof was to unstable. I looked down to the wheel and saw my dad's hat. My heart began to beat faster and I looked at Mya. Mya looked at me with tears in her eyes. I knew in that moment that my father was gone. He climbed up on the roof to save me.

I started to hyperventilate, I couldn't understand fully. I fell down to my knees and started crying. I didn't care who saw me, I just lost my dad. The one who saved me more times than I can count. The one who protected me from everything evil. The one who never left. I felt him put his hand on my shoulder for some comfort, although I'm not sure anything will comfort me. I remember turning my head to look at him then everything went black..

Robert's POV.

I couldn't hear anything after Andy went in. She was talking and communicating for the first 20 minutes. After that it was complete silence from everyone. Ten minutes past and I couldn't just stand outside with my wife inside. I geared up and took a hose so that the others could easily find their way out. Miller and Montgomery made it out first followed by Hughes and Ruiz. I finally made it to Herrera and Gibson, both were on the floor with their devices going off.

"Herrera ! Gibson ! No n-no no no ! Get up !" I scream as I shake them in attempt to get them up. Gibson got up fairly quick and followed the line out. I had to pick Herrera up and carry her out. Trying to get out of there was like trying to figure out a maze. I eventually made it out and set Andy down. I looked at the ladder going to the roof and then at Mya who looked down to Captain Herrera's hat. I caught on and moved my eyes to his hat and then Andy. I felt my eyes get teary, not because I was close with the captain but because my wife just lost her father.

When Andy realized her dad had died she fell to the ground and started hyperventilating while crying. I wasn't sure what to do in this moment, so I put my hand on her shoulder to offer her a bit of comfort. I knew it wouldn't help much but at least she would know I'm here. She turned her head to look at me and just as I was about to tell her I love her she fainted.

"Somebody help ! It's Andy !" I screamed turning her on her back. I checked for a pulse and couldn't find one so I began CPR. I felt tears fall down my face as I continued.

"Sullivan let me take over. You can't bring her back by yourself. " I heard Warren say. It took me a minute to step back and let them in. As soon as I stepped far enough away they intubated her and resumed CPR. Five minutes passed and she still didn't have a pulse so they shocked her and pushed rounds of epinephrine.

Twenty minutes passed and they finally got her pulse back. They loaded her up in the ambulance.

"I'm going with her ! " I said as I followed them. I couldn't leave my wife, not now, not when she needs me the most.

"No Sullivan. You need to stay to clean everything up. 19 will go with her. " I heard captain Bishop say with a stern voice.

"Bishop ! I can't. She needs me there when she wakes up ! " I yelled giving her a look. She knows we've been together but I don't think she knows we're married.

"Sullivan I-" Bishop started before getting cut off by Hughes.

"Ripely is on his way to clean up, let him come" Hughes said with a soft tone, trying not to break down.

"Thank you Hughes." I expressed being super thankful and got into the ambulance. I sat next to Andy's hair softly rubbing it.

"Baby please, you have to be okay. I love you so so much." I softly whispered in her ear. It took about 20 minutes to get to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Thankfully in that time Andy had no repeats of losing her pulse. She remained stable the whole way. When we got to GSMH Dr. Grey and Dr. Bailey were waiting for us. They took Andy into trauma room one. When they got Andy on the bed for examination she started seizing. I didn't get to watch much before they kicked me out. I stood there for what felt like ages before finally going outside. I thought when I made it outside I'd be able to breathe instead I just collapsed into tears. What happened to my wife ? Why isn't she okay ? Will she make it ? All the thoughts were running around my mind.

I finally snapped out of it when I heard Bishop say my name.

"Sullivan, they took her up for surgery, something is wrong with her heart. Do not worry they have Cristina Yang working on her and she's the best heart surgeon there is. I heard her say before looking up only to realize she sat next to me.

"Bishop I can't lose her.. she's the only person who understands me and connects with me. I can't lose another wife. " I said trying to sound strong when in reality I was breaking into a million pieces.

"Sir, your wife ?.." Bishop looked at me with confusion. I thought Andy told her but I was wrong. Now I accidentally let out a big secret.

"I - uh." I was cut off before I was able to finish. I gave Bishop a look to let her know to keep quiet.

"Robert Sullivan ? " I heard a familiar voice so I turned around only to see ..
