Will we work ?

Día trece. (Day three.)

"Andrea, don't feel terrible about this okay. I understand that flashbacks can be confusing. I hope this cleared something up for you.. I'll seriously text you later tho .. and don't worry, this will stay between us." she gave me a nod and then walked out of the room and in walks a nurse.

"We're gonna take you to do some tests now."

"Yeah okay." I sighed and got in the wheelchair.

Andrea's POV.

After all the tests I was extremely tired, it was around seven pm. when Dr. Grey brought me some food.

"Herrera, I brought you some stake, mashed potato's, and some carrots. We're moving you up to solid foods." She smiled and set the food down. I closed my eyes and groaned at the smell. It smelt like heaven on a plate. I wanted to go to sleep as the test exhausted me but I was so so hungry.

"How's your day been Dr. Grey ?" I asked pulling my tray closer and opening the wrapper to my fork and knife.

"Oh well it's been okay, I've had two appendectomies and cholecystectomies. How has your day been Lt. Herrera ?"

"It was good .. Victoria came by, we talked for a while and then I did a bunch of tests."

"Sounds like a long day, I know how rough those tests are."

"Yeah it was.. hey can I ask you something ?" I looked at her kinda nervous.

"Yeah of course, what's up ?"

"I keep getting these flashbacks.. does this mean I'll eventually remember it all ?"

"Not necessarily, it is great that you're getting memories back this early but it doesn't mean they'll all come back. I'm so so sorry Herrera." I sighed and looked at her. I just wanted to go home, wherever that is. "I have to go, but I'll stop by later okay ?"

"Okay." Soon after she left the rest of the team came by. Everyone was talking about the fire and mentioned my dad's name. That's when I saw it. I remember coming out of the building and look at the ladder and then my dad's hat. I remember Mya telling me about what he said and my aunt showing me the news letter. 'She was right. Oh my god I'm such an ass.'

"Hey Andy. You okay ? " Jack asked.

"Yeah-yeah I'm okay.. I- uhm I just remembered what happened at the storage unit. But I'm okay." I say looking at them giving them a look to not ask anymore. Before I knew it the crew was embracing me in the longest hug of my life. "Okay guys get off of me" I giggled. I heard a knock on the door and looked up.

"Hey, how are you feeling ?" Dr. Shepherd came over and checked my vitals and then took my IV out.

"Wh-what's happening ?" I asked confused.

"Andy I feel confident sending you home with a crew member, your numbers are good and your tests came out good. Your brain just needs time and it'll catch up. I want you back in a week to check your heart and you'll have to wear this bracelet. I've programmed it to go off when you need to take your medication, and it'll go off and alert the hospital if your pulse raises too high. From where it looks now you'll be off for three weeks and then it'll be desk duty for three weeks."  I sighed, at all this information. I'm glad to be leaving the hospital.
