Slowly remembering.

Andreas POV.

The next few days went by so slow. I was in so much pain that I only got up to use the restroom. Robert has been amazing throughout this, he's made me food helped me bath and change. He's honestly so sweet.

"Hey Ands, would you like to go on a walk ?" This strong raspy voice said from behind me.

I smiled and thought for a moment or two. "Sure I would like that. Let me go change and then we can go." I stretched and stood up walking into the room. I found this super cute burgundy workout set. Running down the stairs while trying to put your hair up isn't ideal. "You ready?" I asked. Walking down these streets gave me a sense of comfort. All the butterflies and ladybugs were out which made the streets even better. We kept walking for what felt like forever till we hit a coffee cart.

"This is where we had our first meeting outside the firehouse." He smiled and went to order the coffee. I went and found us a spot to sit down.

"Here you go." He handed me the coffee. Gosh he was the sweetest boy I'd ever met.

"Thank you." I smiled and took it. "Wow this is really good." I softly giggled.

"Hey Robert, can we go down to the station ? I want to see where I work. Maybe it'll jog a few memories." I asked softly.

"We can, it's a long walk tho. Are you up for that ? Is it to much ?" He asked in a concerned tone.

"No im okay. Hopefully we can get a ride back to the house tho." I chucked and started walking. I had to have Robert lead as I was still lost on what roads we were on.

"Here we are, do you want to go in ?" He asked and all I could do is nod. We walked in and I looked around. I saw a case that held pictures of my dad and other firefighters that passed. I smiled softly and then went into the barn.

"Herrera ? What are you doing here ?" I heard Bishop questioned.

"I wanted to come by and see if jogged any memories." I smiled and walked upstairs to the kitchen.

"Andy !" I heard everyone shout.

"Yes, yes I'm here. I still don't remember but I'm trying. Now shush and let me look around." I glared at them and continued to look around. I look in the gathering room and the kitchen, locker rooms and bathrooms. Yet still nothing. I sighed in frustration that I wasn't remembering anything. I went back to the gathering room and sat on the couch.

"Travis, are you crying ?" I looked at him in confusion yet sadness.

"Yes ! He killed his brother to take over land ! And then left the baby lion in the hot desert to die !" He shouted letting a few tears fall. We all chuckled at how soft he was to movies.

"Travis, babe. He was bound to die at one point. And the baby lion didn't die, I'm sure there's more wonders in the movie. Don't give up hope yet." Victoria said in between giggles.

"Do you want some popcorn or a blanket ?" Ben asked concerned.

"I'll be okay, dad." Travis joked which made everyone laugh.

"Okay okay back to the movie." Jack was oddly into this movie.

I felt a few tears fall back as I sunk into the couch. These people are my safe spot.

"Robert can we invite everyone to the house to watch 'The Lion King' ?" I asked lying on his chest.

"Yes we can do that." He smiled softly and kissed my forehead. "Are you ready to go home ?"

"Yes, can we get Maya to take us home ?"

"Bishop, come here." He yelled.

"Yes sir ?" She asked in a timid voice.

"Ease up, can you take Andy back to the house ?" He looked at me. "I'm gonna do some paperwork and then I'll be home."

"Yes, but sir, should Andy be left alone ?"

"I'm fine guys." I try to sound convincing.

"You can take the rest of the day off and stay with her."

"Okay, Andy let's get you home. " she said and helped me into the car.

We arrived back at the house and she helped me in. I went up and changed into some booty shorts and a thin black shirt. I walked down the stairs and smiled.

"This is such a classic, I'll make popcorn and drinks ?" I went into the kitchen.

"And I'll get a bed ready." Maya giggled and set up the bed while I made Carmel popcorn and some nonalcoholic margaritas. I set up our bed trays and climbed in next to Maya.

"Ready ?" She asked and I nodded. About 45 minutes into the movie I started getting sleepy. I looked over at Maya and laid my head on her shoulder.

"Thank you for being here with me. It means a lot. I think we're going to be really good friends." I say groggy

"We already are. Inseparable best friends." She looks at me smiling then turns to the tv. I give a soft smile before drifting off to sleep.
