Taking 10: A Boys of Tommen Fanfic

Tadhg:
I've only known Ella a few months now, after I met her on the first day of first year in Tommen, and we've been best friends ever since. Some people say I'm a hothead and mean and a bully, but not with her.

With her I'm as nice as I can be, I don't want to be mean to her, I want to see her smile and laugh. She's my best friend. And I know for a fact she always will be. No matter what. She gets me like no one ever has before. She knows me better than I do myself.

Ella:
It's the first day back to Tommen after winter break. And I cannot wait to see Tadhg and hear all about the drama surrounding his family.

Some people say that Tadhg is mean and a hothead, and I mean he is quick to anger, but they don't know him like I do. It's not like they haven't tried, but for some reason he only lets me in, every girl in our year has tried to get close to him, and even some in the year above.

They're practically obsessed with him. And I get why, he's all tall and lean muscle, even at such a young age. He's got messy blonde hair that's always perfectly disheveled, tan skin no matter what time of year, piercing green eyes that suck you in, and amazing skill on the hurling pitch - which we happen to have in common with both of us playing county for our age division.

I pull up to Tommen on my bike.
As I'm locking it up, I look over and see Johnny Kavanaghs car pulling up with Tadhg and his sister Shannon in it.

I walk over to them as they're getting out and Tadhg and Shannon are bickering away as Johnny notices me.
"Hey kid, heard you got a spot on the county team" he says as I walk over catching Tadhg's attention.
"I did" I say beaming up at him proudly.
"Congrats, you'll do great" he says getting caught up in Shannon as the two walk away all cuddly.
"They're gross" Tadhg says sliding next to me as we head in the same direction.
"Sickly in love" I add.

"Ready for some English" he says throwing his arm over my shoulder.
He doesn't have too much on me in height at my 5 feet and 6 inches, but he's nowhere near finished growing, and I've long stopped.
"Ugh don't remind me" I say groaning into his side. "I cannot deal with more of Ms. Kennedy".
"Hopefully she'll pop out that baby and be gone"
I snort at the image, as I spot Jack, one of Tadhg's closer friends, who's also in our English class.

He strides up to us "how are my favourite couple" he says looking down at the sight of Tadhg with his arm sling around me.

"Haha jack you're gas" I deadpan. And Tadhg let's out a snort at my reaction.
"Cmon lad lets go" he says steering us away at the sight of Ava O'Leary heading towards us in the corridor.

We hate that bitch. She talks shit about everyone, she has like one actual friend, who she also talks shit about, and she's always all over Tadhg, makes my blood boil.

"Did ye get the email about costume day" jack asks.
"Ya what's that about?" I say
"You've to dress up as your favourite book character. Apparently it's book week or some shit" Tadhg says.
"Cool. Is it for the whole school" I ask
"Ya, think so"
"We should go as Hermione and Harry!" I shout.
Tadhg laughs "your hairs practically black, and mines blonde".
"Ugh so what. The wands will give it away"
He laughs again "fine, I'll be your harry"
"Yay! This is so exciting, I've to get planning"

"Have you even read Harry Potter?"jack asks.
"I've watched the movies"
"Have you ever even read a book that wasn't mandatory?" Jack says with a snort.
"And what books have you read jack?" I throw back.
"Got me there" he says as we walk into our class and Tadhg takes his arm off from around me as we head to our row of two in the back, with jack and my second best friend Eimear in the row next to us.

"Ella!" Eimear says "congrats on county babe!"
I grin at her "thanks eems couldn't have done it without you"
She winks at me, turning back to jack.
"I didn't get congratulated on getting county" Tadhg mocks.

"Settle down now class" a random teacher says at the top of the class.
"I'll be filling in for Ms. Kennedy, since she's on maternity leave, I'm Mr. Costello" he says.

I look over to Tadhg and we look at each other with pure excitement glad to be rid of that bitch of a teacher Ms. Kennedy.
