He promises you he'll treat you better than the others
You tell him everything about your past
About how you can't afford to get hurt again
And he tells you
" they didn't deserve you I'll treat you better I promise I won't hurt you "
Yet here I am crying
Wondering why he treats me this way
Why did he promise me all of these things
Him knowing everything you've been through
Why would he get with me
Just to hurt me?
