Vinny sat in his leather chair, his hands splayed out on the desk in front of him. His knuckles bleached as he pushed himself up, glaring at the men sitting in the seats on the other side of the desk. Rickie picked his teeth with a blade; John crossed his ankle over his knee. Vinny rounded his desk and came to sit on the edge. "I am not swearing her in. I need to push her further away. Carrion knows about her." Vinny raked his finger through his hair.

"We got word that more of his men arrived at JFK last night. I put more men on finding out where they are staying. Should we keep the two men on Mia or add more?" John said, studying Vinny.

Vinny ran his fingers through his hair again, grabbing his hair roughly before letting out an exhale. "Put Leo and Tommy on her instead. Get one of them hired on at her Autoshop. I want the other set up in her building, cameras installed, front and stairwell cover, and several on her floor. And I don't want her to know who they are to us. We're going to pull away. I'll have Frank say goodbye, too."

Rickie raised an eyebrow at John. John questioned Vinny, "You want a full out on this girl without doing a full out?" Vinny looked at his brother, "I don't want a full out. I need a full out."

"Brother, you will be the problem in this. You're crazy about the girl. You pull away from her, see her happy with another man, and take her back. She was happy with Frank, and then you took that from both of them. Now she has this normal guy. How long before you threaten him, too?" Rickie hid his laugh with a cough.

"Fuck you. Both of you. Making me sound like a lovesick puppy over this girl. She's just a good lay." Rickie burst out laughing as he twirled his knife between his fingers. "Her cunt must be gold!" Rickie exclaimed.

Vinny pulled his gun out of his holster at lightning speed and pointed it at Rickie. Rickie stopped twirling and leaned forward, closing the distance between his forehead and the weapon. "Turns out that golden cunt isn't just a good lay, is she, boss?"

Vinny stared down at Rickie, holding his gaze as Rickie smirked. Vinny let out a growl as he lowered the gun. "I may be a sadistic psychopath, but I know love when I see it, Vin," Rickie started, pointing his knife at Vinny. Vinny lazily pointed the gun at Rickie again, "I don't love. I'd have to have a heart for that, you bastard." Rickie laughed, and Vinny and John joined.

"But business. Full out on Mia, except Leo and Tommy. I want all our efforts on Carrion. His men are doubling by the day. Which means he's coming to New York. I want his men taken care of before he lands. And I want him dead before he steps out of JFK." Vinny tucks the gun inside his holster as he rounds his desk.

John and Rickie stand and turn towards the office door. "And Laila?" Vinny asks. Rickie turns slightly, a wicked grin growing, "Laila, who?" Vinny nodded, and the two men left the office.

"Miiiiiiiaaa!"

"Jesus Christmas, what, Magnus?" Mia pulled her earbuds out and looked over at Magnus, who was hanging half out of the door to the waiting room. "You have an interviewee?" Magnus stated unsurely. All the men in the bays stopped and looked at Mia. Mia rolled her eyes, "Oh, relax. None of you are fired. Although you all should be with how much you gossip instead of work."

"Why the rookie then, Mia?" Elio asked as Mia passed him. "He's possibly my replacement." Again, all the men stopped working and looked at her. "M?" Sebastian asked, grabbing her elbow as she passed him. She spun to look at the men. "Everything is fine! I'm fine! I want to take on a more business role anyway. Less grease."

"It's DiPalma, isn't it?" Hunter asked. Mia turned around and looked at him. "Fuck both DiPalma men! They both have ghosted me! A month and not a word! I can't even seem to see Frank at his restaurant. The bitch maitre'd said he's sourcing in Italy. Whatever the fuck that means." The men exchange a look.
