Prolouge/Chapter 1

After Light's sudden change in personality I've noticed that a prestigious school in Japan has had a case of missing students, could this possibly be a new kira? Or is it someone else I wonder? Either way I'd like to investigate as this school contains japan's quote on quote "smartest, and greatest" so if the death note would find a new owner it'd be most logical for it to be in the hands of one these students as based off of my previous deductions, the death note if something that possesses people than it should be logical it'd find its way here.

As for Light, I'd like to test this Light's abilities as the one I think is kira should be extremely smart and cunnin although I believe my reasoning, deductive abilities, and intuition are far superior than Light's but I have no doubt in my mind that he is most definitely a genuis one might even say a super genius, hmm. Being honest my interest in this school has grew significantly after my speculation I deduce that there's a 3 percent chance that kira is a being that possesses people, but as for the school I do truly believe the truth behind this school holds immense trouble and despair.

"Hey ryuzaki! What're you thinking about? You've been in your thoughts for a good 3 minutes now it's kinda weird if you ask me. Did you come to find anything interesting on the mysteries in Japan, or if anything leads to kira?" Light said with a hint of suspicion and curiosity.

"Yes I have actually light. There's a group of 16 of Japan's most prestigious students have mysteriously gone missing for some reason and it all points to the self proclaimed best educational institution in the country. Hope's peak academy, what do you think of this Light?" I wanted to test this Light's reasoning and ability to reach a conclusion just to gauge if he's as smart as I believe him to be.

"Oh ha- you've really put me on the spot here ryuzaki, why don't we ask everyone else what they think? But if you're really determined on seeing what I think then, I think someone smart or a previous or on going student was able to kidnap the students in question, although I don't really know how the person in question did it." If I'm being completely honest this deduction has impressed me, and made me realise Light's abilities are better than I've expected but alas my analysis is done.

"Ryuzaki are we sure we want to investigate this school? What if its just a distraction by the real kira?" Chief Yagami asked obviously concerned by the well being of his son at the fact I could be walking his son into a death trap I understand his concern, but I've decided that we are to investigate the school.

"Understandable deduction Chief Yagami but I've decided that the truth of this school could potentially lead us to the real identity of kira, its logical kira could pull this off if they have the death note you see. I promise your son and I will be safe chief yagami." I lied, there's a small chance that the person who set this up is truly kira, but it has truly piqued my interest so I've decided that we are going to enter hope's peak academy, to uncover the mystery of this school and Light Yagami is coming with me.

"Relax dad, I'm sure ryuzaki is right beside I'm also curious about the school too." Light said.

"Understandable, but please Ryuzaki bring my son back to me that's I all I ask of you." He requested of me.

"Request accepted. As for us going to the school I've decided we are going to enter as ultimates, with light being the ultimate high school student and me as the ultimate lucky student that way it won't be suspicious, we are taking the spots of Kyoko kirigiri and of a boy named Makoto naegi, so be prepared light." I said to him waiting for his response as I hacked into the data base and replaced us with the two students, although I noticed that it was awfully easy for me to get in, as if someone had forseen this happening. Hmm I wonder? Well no matter even if this a trap, I higky doubt me or light will die, but this makes my suspicions of this anonymous person of kira go up by 1 percent, but I do know that this person is small, calculated, analytical, and has seemingly high levels of prediction.
