SALLYS POV
I didn't mean to tell him that but he didn't listen. *Whats the matter, Sal?*
I started to cry into my pillow. I tried to stay quiet so I didn't wake up Victoria. Then Shadow came over to me and rubbed my back and tried soothing me. I was too mad at him and my blood just boiled. *Your the matter. Your the reason I'm in here.* He looked at me with big eyes. *I said I'm sorry, I'm doing my best to help you out and protect you!* I lifted my head up and faced him with out thinking I screamed at him. "Your doing a awful job at protecting me! Yesterday I needed you the most and you weren't there I got rapped and you weren't there like you promised you would be if I was ever in trouble! So this is all your fault!" Tears streaming down my face. Soon I woke Victoria up. "Sally? You okay?" She looked at me worried. She got up and seen I was crying she walked over to me and hugged me. "It's ok, what's wrong?" I wiped the tears off my tear stained face the best I could. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." "Who were you talking to?" I looked at Shadow. "Go head make your self visible so she can see you!" He did as I said trying not to make me more mad. Victoria just looked at him and manages to say something. "Hi." Shadow looked at her. "Thank you for helping her yesterday when I failed to." He looked upset but I didn't really care I was too mad at him for ditching me. "Now" I said. "How bout you just leave me alone for a while!" He looked down at his hands and threw my pillow on top of the bed more then scooted up. "I'm sorry Sally..." He then disappeared. "Sally, you okay?" Victoria said worried. "Yeah I'm just mad at him. He's been there for me every moment in my life but yesterday or ever since I got in here and the only reason I got in here is because of him." It was silent in the cell for a little i looked at Victoria. "Do you have like a family size chip bag?" She laughed. "No, I don't but I can put in a request for one I mean it's what like 9:30ish right?" I looked around for a clock but there was non so I shrugged my shoulders. The rest of our morning we spent playing card games. I was just trying to get my mind off of shadow. Before I new it the lunch bell rang and we were freed from our cell. I felt numb from what happened but I'm standing my ground this is all shadows fault. Victoria walked behind me and put a arm around me. "It's ok girl, it's all gonna be better soon." She tried reassuring me, so I just smiled and kept walking. At the lunch line I walked past bottles of Water and they all froze. I didn't think nothing of it really, just thought it was those two girls from the locker room. "Hey Sally!" Jane said appearing from out of no where. "Hi." I replied back. "It's such a nice day for some rebels to come out and break rules." She said hinting as if she wanted me to break the rules with her. "Um I don't know. I'm sorta a rule follower. So good luck with that." I tried letting her down easy and just let her know I don't like breaking rules. "Yeah that's fine, but come here!" She said pulling my away from the lunch line and near the trash cans. "Why near the trash cans?" I questioned. "Because this is were you could light a match and stick it in and then they let us all out of this place when they evacuate us for the fire." She giggled and handed me matches. Me being a dummy took them and just looked at them in my hands. Then I throw them in the trash and turned to her and said. "This ain't being a rebel it's being a jerk and trying to hurt people. Just stop!" I tried not to yell failing horribly, but when I was yelling the lights flickered badly and then shot sparks. People started to get up and try running but the guards told everyone to get there lunches and sit down. So I did as he said. When I got to the table I sat next to Victoria and the others. Then the Sparks stopped and everything was back to normal. "Well that was weird" Lisa said. "Yeah I wonder what it was." Jane said patting me on my back, like she was trying to hint something. "I don't know. Maybe it was a short circuit." I said stating I had nothing to do with it and I was as lost just as the rest of the them. For the rest of lunch I sat quiet. After lunch I got escorted to the same room I was questioned with the same table and chairs. I was Hand cuffed again and in front of officer Phaoni. "Hello Sally" I looked down thinking about what happened last time he had me and didn't know where I was supposed to go after here. I feared he take me to the owner again. "Look when your done with me just take me to my cell please!" I begged and my eyes got watery. "Why? What happened last time?" He questioned looking worried. I bit my lip and looked away. "Nothing that's just were he sent me." I tried to lie. "Oh are you sure? Your eyes tell me other wise." He said. I just bit my lip and held in my tears more harder and raised my voice. "Nothing happened just do it!" "Well I guess I could do that." He said in a friendly voice. "Today instead of you telling me what's going went on, I'm gonna cut you some slack and tell you something's." "Ok." I replied curious.
