The morning sun softly filtered through the gap in the curtains casting a perfect glow upon the room. Lily quickly took note of her surroundings. Their rooms were similar, they had the dark furnishings, same layout but it lacked the homely warmth liliana's room held. Mattheos desk sat in the corner of the room, messily covered in books and pieces of parchment, his bookcase filled with every dark magic scripture you could think of. That's when she saw him. Sat on the windowsill, the window agar smoking a cigarette. Their eyes locked, he wore black jeans and a black t-shirt. His dark curly hair was damp, he must've showered before she woke up. He shifted his body making room for lily to join, which she accepted. They sat in silence watching the winter sun glisten on the frost outside. He had long finished his cigarette before he broke the silence. "I could get used to waking up next to you" his words barely louder than a whisper.

"Your bed isn't half as comfy as mine, so don't get too used to it matty." she replied in the same hushed tone.

"I never said we had to wake up in my bed." he retorted, licking his lip. His eyes full of mischievous intent. His eyes never left hers, not even when he placed the cigarette between his lips. Lily held the lighter between her fingers, holding the lit flame up to him, before lighting her own. His calloused hand gently held her wrist. His fingers tracing soft shapes onto her skin. Mattheo tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear but he never dropped his hand from her face. He cupped her cheek gently in the palm of his hand. The pair continued smoking, neither one of them wanting the moment to end, neither one wanting to ruin the moment that was emerging. Lily let her body take over. Her thoughts screaming at her, reminding her of how much she hated the boy sat opposite her. She nestled her cheek into his hand, his thumb caressing her parted lips.

He brought his face closer to her. They were breathing the same air. Lily had never been this close to the boy. She saw the faint scars that littered his face, her fingers traced over the most prominent one on his forehead and trailing her fingers down over his eye before ending on his cheekbone. He had a fresh cut running over the bridge of his nose, her fingers hovered over it. "Why do you get into so many fights?" she asked, her voice full of innocence.

"I can't stand to see how they look at you." he replied with such honesty it startled lily. "The thoughts they have about you, Lilliana," he trailed off. He didn't need to explain, they were both aware. When you were as well trained in occlumency as they were, it was almost impossible to block out everyone's thoughts, especially when most of the boys in Hogwarts were beyond weak minded. "They haven't earned the right to look at you, let alone think about you."

"Do you think about me, Matty?" he nodded "and what do you think about?" she probed. He licked his lips nervously.

"I think about how much I hate you. How I could get away with your murder, how to hide your body and it never be found.'' Lily raised her eyebrow at his response; she knew there was more. "I think about how much I enjoy watching you laugh, how much I wish it was me making you laugh. I think about kissing you, wondering what your lips would feel like. I haven't stopped thinking about how good it feels to be close to you. I think thoughts that are so shameful I am no better than the people I hurt." lily wrapped her arms loosely around his neck running her finger through in dark curls.

"You think about kissing me? Tell me more." the pairs eyes glued to each other, never once breaking eye contact.

"How about I show you?" one hand moved to hold her waist the other rested under her chin tilting her face up to his. He brought his lips down to hers they were millimetres apart. His scent was intoxicating, his sandalwood cologne filling her senses, the perfect mixture of smoke, old books and freshly cut grass. Their lips finally met; they were soft but assertive. It started slowly but soon deepened. His hand tightened on her waist bringing her body closer, her hands tangled in his hair. Their tongues tangled together, both wanting dominance but failing. They couldn't get enough of each other. Never breaking the kiss, Mattheo lifted her up with ease. Her legs wrapping around his waist tightly, he lay her down on the unmade bed. One hand rested beside her head supporting his body, the other moving to her thigh. The soft caresses on her thigh contradicted the dominance of the kiss, it was the perfect combination. Her hands made their way to Mattheos waist pulling him closer to her causing him to groan as her nails trailed over his skin.

His lips left lilianas before kissing her neck making her gasp and moan in response. She could feel the cocky grin on his face through his delicate kisses. She turned them over so she was now straddling his waist, mattheo looked up at her with raised brows. She intertwined their fingers holding his hands above his head. Before reconnecting their lips with the same urgency as before. Her lips trailed down to his neck but unlike Mattheo she wasn't as delicate with her kisses, no one would bat an eye to the marks on his neck. Her hands made their way to his chest, while his wrapped around her waist holding her close.

They pulled away from each other gasping for breath. Resting their foreheads against each other. "If you carry on like this I wont be able to stop myself, liliana." he warned she was well aware of the effect the kiss had on him, she could feel it. She enjoyed having this power over him.

Lily pulled away from Mattheo, the realisation of what just transpired hitting with full force. She kissed the boy she spent her whole life hating, she had spent the night in his bed, she was currently only wearing his t shirt, he was in her bed the night before. Mattheo watched her intently, her chin resting on her fingers, her eyes studying him as he lay back his arm resting behind his head. "You can kiss me and still hate me liliana." he didn't need to get in her head to know what she was thinking. "Angry sex is some of the best sex you can have," he reminisced. Lily raised her brow at him. "Well you'll have to take my word for it, but what goes on between us behind closed doors will stay our secret." he promised. "How I see it sweetheart, we have two options. Option one forget any of this ever happened go back to hating each other. But speaking for myself of course, I don't know how I will go back to that now I've tasted your lips. Option two we continue our little rendezvous and see what happens, no one will ever find out. And if it's any consolation I cannot stress enough how much I don't want people finding out we've kissed. It will wreak havoc on my reputation."

"Hypothetically, how feasible is option two?" Mattheo chuckled at her response, their encounters have been completely impulsive lately, and she chose this moment to weigh up the severity of their actions.

"Well there are many factors to consider. Our friends can never find out. Tom is smart; he may suspect something but he won't say anything. Draco is too oblivious to realise. At what point do we draw the line? It will stay purely physical of course, but at what point does it become too physical." he explained, it seemed very thought out. Too thought out to be a spur of the moment explanation.

"We still hate each other so it won't be hard to keep up appearances to the others. And once the line starts to blur we stop." lily added.

"We stop?" mattheo questioned. "Do you understand the effect you have on me lilianna?" his voice strained.

"It's the only way this stays between us." she knew more than anything that mattheo had as much to lose from people finding out as she did. His reputation was all he had. He couldn't have people thinking he had gone soft, especially not over a girl.

"Deal." he stuck his hand out towards her.

"Deal" she replied, slipping her hand into his.
