In his embrace i found my solace..i felt at peace... all my life i have seen people believing others over me but today when he said
'i believe you Mrs.Malhotra' those words ringing in my head continuously providing a sense of calmness to me someone believed me he did and that was enough for me..to try again
We were silent.. the silence was peaceful enough to let me know that i had someone i can rely on with all myself
i was in his arms he was holding me so close i felt protected and safe around him my breath calmed down finally he kept caressing my hairs letting me cry as much i wanted that was the last thing i remember before darkness consumed me

I opened my eyes blinking them to adjust my view to the surroundings i opened my eyes they were hurting badly and my head was pounding with pain i felt someone's fingers caressing my forehead i realised my head was on his lap i slept off like that..his hands were still in my hairs caressing them

"i-" i was going to apologise but he cut me off
"it's okay i wanted to take care of you" he said smiling at me softly
i gave him a weak smile
"thank you for being here with me" i said wiping off my cheeks with the sleeve of my kurti
"i am always here for you, with you" he said as he picked up a plate full of food from the night stand and forwarded it towards me
i took it from him i wouldn't lie i needed food my body was aching like hell
"How come you are here? what about your business trip it was important!" i said stuffing my mouth with a spoonful of rajma chawal
"Not more than my wife" he said feeding me another bite as i stopped eating
"you didn't-" he didn't let me complete and gave me another spoonful of my food
